   The spicy ragu (extra spicy for me) and the truffle Alfredo were some of the best Italian I’ve had in a long time!! So good and worth visiting again and again!

   We had such a great time! The food was excellent, and our waiter was awesome too. We made a reservation and didn’t have to wait more than a minute to be seated. Loved the decorations too

   5pm reservation, restaurant was still setting up for dinner service. Food, general consensus at the table was only okay. The chicken parm, not bubbly hot, the cheese slid off the meat in a single sheet. The Neapolitan Ragu, was a shade warmer, then (warm) not hot and fresh seemingly and the bucatini was uncooked and chewy. Thanks to the whipped ricotta it kept the dish from being dry, otherwise it would have been. This time visiting the food just wasn’t as good as we have had in past visits. The house bottle of wine selected was good and dessert was as well. The service was excellent, sadly the food wasn’t in comparison, we left a $100 tip because we appreciated the service. The restaurant is difficult to get a later reservation hour, regardless I wouldn’t go again on a Tuesday at 5pm. Overall, a 3 star experience.

   Love having Caruso’s in the neighborhood. It offers a warm, welcoming environment with good food - even if hard to get a reservation. The tricolore salad and burrata were excellent. Our entrees - gnocchi, mushroom truffle pasta, and linguine with clams were good, not great. Gnocchi were a bit chewy, the mushroom sauce was a bit salty and linguine a bit blah - could have used more garlic or chili or something. Tiramisu also excellent. Service was friendly but seemed inexperienced- we waited a long time to order and had to request a refill of water.
