Caruso's Grocery in Pike and Rose is modeled after the classic, Italian-American "red sauce" joint. You know the one: nostalgic photos on the walls , a killer chicken parmesan, Sinatra pouring through the speakers. If you’re looking for modern interpretations of a chef's take on the classics, you won’t find them here. A joint venture from Neighborhood Restaurant Group and Partner Matthew Adler.

Seated in the bar for brunch. Food was EXCELLENT! Service was pretty much non-existent. I would still go back.

Great service, they were knowledgeable on all the food, helped when we needed a new table, and even helped create a more custom dish to suit dietary preferences!

Great food, excellent service & nice ambiance. A bit loud but if at a booth you can talk with others. Good value too!

Food and service was very good, I would have rated higher but I don’t like having my tip determined for me, also feel they can do better than tap water and canned soda.

Food is great but service is lackluster. Celebrated a birthday and nothing was done for the special occasion. There were other celebrating a birthday and they were given a celebration around dessert. We’ve visited before and was offered parmesan cheese with our entrees, not on this occasion while others were getting cheese on their plates. Drinks took a while to come while our glasses came with ice that had already melted. We’ve came a few times and the services seems to lack. Not sure if they were just bad days on both occasions but it really ruins the experience that we are looking for.
