   We visit Fredericksburg several times a year, and we were thrilled to find this place!! This is not a Tex Mex restaurant! This is a Mexican cuisine restaurant that uses fresh, flavorful ingredients and the food is absolutely delicious! The guacamole is by far the best I ever had, and the sampling of sauces with freshly made chips are diverse and totally appealing. And the beans…to me pinto beans are pinto beans….but not these. I didn’t order them, but my husband shared and I kept dipping into the bowl! The duck was very good, and my husband said his chicken enchiladas were delicious. They have a full bar and the drinks were wonderful! And we topped off the evening with a dessert…crispy churros with ice cream. OMG! I wish I could remember our wonderful waiter’s name…but the service was impeccable! He knew specifics about the different dishes on the menu, and answered all of our questions. Very attentive. If we were staying another day in Fredericksburg we would go back! We will, however, be back to Fredericksburg frequently and we will most definitely come back to Casa Chloe!!

    Spicy Margarita was ok, but had a lot of sugar added into it & the sweet overpowered the spice. Ordered the shrimp appetizer & they were not edible. Clearly frozen & thawed. So stringy you couldn’t eat them. The sauce was too heavy with lime juice & was overall just bad. Enchiladas came out in 5 minutes & were cold & clearly just made from ingredients they had ready. The only saving grace of my meal was the borracho beans. I’d eat elsewhere if I was in Fredericksburg.
