Located in the heart of Shoreditch, between Great Eastern Street and Commercial Street Casa Shoreditch is within walking distance of London Liverpool Street and The City. The restaurant has a ground-floor bar and first floor dining room, and a large partially covered terrace perfect for alfresco dining in the warmer months.

Casa’s menu is inspired by the rich culinary history of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean. True to Portuguese tradition, there is an emphasis on cooking over a wood-charcoal grill. Everything at Casa is made fresh in-house, using top quality, locally sourced ingredients. The food is complemented with an all-Portuguese wine list, cocktails, mocktails and Super Bock beer on draught.

    Firstly my reservation wasn't even on their log? Food was OK and the service was fine, but why on earth except our booking at 4.45 if you're shutting the kitchen at 5 giving us only 15 minutes to decide on the menu and the inability to order further dishes on what is ostensibly a tapas style menu - overall I don't feel any great impetus to return.

    service was a bit messy this day, as we didnt get a couple of items by error, but nothing that couldn't be fixed. food was lovely as always

    Booked this restaurant 7 days before the reservation for a gathering with friends who were coming from out of London. I got a call on the day 2 hours before my booking saying that my booking (4.45pm) was scheduled for their last orders and would I be able to come in 15 minutes earlier. Myself and my friends got to the booking at 4.25pm and the restaurant was already closed. Very very disappointing

    Service was really bad, we got completely forgotten about and had to ask for our order to be taken at the bar 3 times. Food quality was really poor and was expecting much better

    The seafood rice was undercooked and was not the real seafood rice. The ham croquetes and the cod fritter really need a change. more cod and a replacement on the ham used in the croquetes The chicken was very good but that was it Not a representation of good quality portuguese food.

    Great food and very attentive service. We enjoyed the hispi coleslaw salad was a delicious . The wavy beef meat balls were very tasty .

    A lovely space and delicious food. Service was good and we got our own private spot away from the other tables.
