Great dining experience. Recommend charred octopus for appetizer. Thomas gave us excellent service. Will definitely return and hopefully not raining and can seat outside by canal. Unfortunately a large private party was right behind us and somewhat noisy.

Casa Sensei is always a win. We sat by the dock with a great view of the river and gondolas. Large food portions … the salmon and sea bass were amazing as well as the dulce cheesecake. Our waiter Mark was excellent and made sure we had an enjoyable experience.

We were greeted with the information that the kitchen was only serving cold food. We stayed anyway, but that was a mistake. Our waiter couldn’t answer questions about the menu and when a server brought food to the table he simply stood there holding the dish, silently. We looked at him and he looked at us, staring silently. We surmised that he wanted us to clear our plates and make room for the dish. Odd behavior that kind of creeped us out. Food was average. Staff at front were non apologetic. Walking out we mentioned that the experience was way below what we previously experienced eating here several times. The reply, “okay.” Management failure to train their staff is apparent. We won’t return. Sad.

Our server, Carlos, was as amazing as the food! He was knowledgeable about the menu and very charismatic. Carlos’ food and beverage recommendations were flawless and his assistant, Brian, was great too! To wrap things, Catherine, insured our continued patronage with her warm hospitality.

Great outdoor dining by the canal. The high top table was a better option as the dockside tables were in the sun.

We had a reservation at 9 and didn’t get sat until 9:30 but the hosts were very nice and I understand they were doing their best. When we did get sat the service was awful, it was very Loud our server had two big birthday parties so we barely could get his attention. We never got the complimentary popcorn and when we did get our food we had to wait a while to get our chopsticks and sauces.
