Yesterday we went for a lovely lunch at Casa Vigil, really great food for an amazing Lunch fixed price menu, $30 for a main, dessert and a glass of wine, amazing deal and lovely food, we added an appetizer the ossobuco empanada, super tasty. The restaurant is located inside Upper Buena Vista which is a little magical place with shops and restaurants, I love it ❤️

Not as good as previous occasions. Food including the meet were below expectations. No wine offers. Manager said they will work on new menu and upcoming offers. Looking forward to it (or lower corkage fees to bring my own wine)

I can't believe that a renowned place like Casa Vigil is associated with such disappointment. The food was absolutely nothing to remember; the empanada was a tiny, tasteless bite, and the meat was just average. The service was well below average. At one point, we felt abandoned and had to call the hostess to order dessert from her. At a certain moment during the night, they decided to play music at a volume that made conversation impossible. When we asked for the bill, they had added a 20% tip, which is a terrible and low level hospitality practice. To top it all off, at 8:30 PM, the valet parking came to my table to hand me my car keys because he wanted to leave, as he only had two cars that night. I had to pay him right there interrupting the conversation. The whole experience was a disappointment. Don't choose this place if your dinner is important.

We loved the atmosphere. Quite impressive. The bartender was fantastic. Really wanted to make our experience memorable. Our waiter tried so hard to please and he was successful But, we were on the Miami Spice and the portions were quite small, I.e., the lamb chops, which had an up charge, consisted of minuscule 1/4 inch thin cuts of meat. We had requested medium rare but, with chops this thin, that was obviously impossible. We enjoyed the evening and the black squid ink rice was superb. However, when my husband got home, the first thing he did was make himself a huge sandwich. Casa Vigil is located in a unique little open air mall. This is an evening which will definitely impress friends and family. You can avoid the overcharge by the valet by simply parking across the street from the FRONT of the restaurant

Excellent service. The burrata with the tomato is very different and delicious. The short ribs and branzino were outstanding. The cheese tart was also great. Went back again.

Dinner and Drinks were on the expensive side for a casual night with friends. Spent over $600.00 mid week and seems crazy….guess that’s the reason the restaurant was empty. Service was on the slow side. Did not enjoy my evening or experience. Ron
