Since 1986, Casanova Italian Restaurant is at the heart of the Upcountry Maui lifestyle. From Sunday brunch right into dinner, you may expect the best Italian food on the island (as voted by countless local magazines’ surveys). Fresh salads, pastas, seafood and pizzas from Maui's first wood burning oven are Casanova's signature dishes. Loyal patrons appreciate Casanova's very reasonable prices. In 2017 Open Table diners rated Casanova the Best Italian Restaurant in the State of Hawaii.
At the main crossroad of Historic Makawao town, Casanova is a must do experience after a visit to Haleakala National Park.

    We really enjoyed dining here. Everyone was so nice and atmosphere was calm. it took us out of the tourist restaurants to something peaceful and delicious

    The food and service is always great at Casanovas! The acoustics, however makes it hard to hear the person sitting right next to you! We always go back because we love it, but there is definitely a sound challenge.

    As always the food was excellent. It was my birthday and we go every year for it and lots of times in between. Chris our server was great and live piano Christmas music perfect. I will always recommend the restaurant and the tirimisu topped it off.

    We are never disappointed with the food and service whenever we visit Casanova’s. It was a surprise to be charged extra for using a credit card, which is a cost of doing business and should not be passed on to the customer.

    Our favorite restaurant for Italian food on Maui. It’s located in the “upcountry “ area in the town of Makawo. Great service - was decorated nice for Christmas. Food delicious. We always come here when we visit Maui.

    Excellent excellent excellent, only down side was we were there after sunset so we couldn’t see where we were on the island but food, drinks, dessert are amazing!!!

    With a live pianist playing festive tunes as a backdrop, the atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxing and happy. Cold drinks, best fresh Margarita I’ve had anywhere is right here. Fresh and cold Caesar salad and fresh pasta with filet mignonette and a delicious sauce. Bar server is attentive and friendly.

    For our last minute reservations at Cassanova’s and a table for five. Great service here from entire staff, our server Chris is friendly and attentive. Cold drinks came right away. Salads were fresh and cold. Our pasta dishes were plentiful and delicious. Meatball dish was tasty, hot and well portioned.
