    Place is tiny and your on top of other diner’s. FPoor effort Italian food. Expensive. Freezing cold breeze from front door. Rushed to order and to pay. Dont believe the good reviews on this place.

    Second experience at casarecce! Food is always excellent, drinks are yummy and service is pretty good. Typical north end restaurant, tiny with tables super close together. In and out pretty quick, definitely not a place to go if you’re looking to take your time! We love the food though and will keep coming back! Close by to modern pastry for an after dinner treat!

    Very enjoyable evening and meal. It is a small space, so tables are close together and it is a bit noisy. In some ways, this added to the experience and wasn't a negative.

    The meal was spectacular, and the musical experience brought me to tears me papa would have been on the way by the offering of not only the food, but the entertainment this was truly a Valentine’s Day experience

    I have a lot to say about this restaurant. Unfortunately the food was just not good. It wasn’t great. It wasn’t good. It was just borderline okay. We had the burrata appetizer. The prosciutto was sliced way too thick making it really not pleasant. We had the mushroom ravioli and one of the stuffed veal dishes. I wasn’t happy with my veal. The wine selection by the glass was subpar. You’re in an Italian neighborhood in an Italian restaurant. You should have at least a couple glasses of wine on the menu that are good. We tasted two other red wines by the glass. First one was bad. Second one was “Meh”. We decided to see what a full glass would be at the second one. That was a mistake. Ensure no good glasses of red wine on the menu. Maybe if it’s wine by the bottle but not really sure because may the wines are hanging on the wall on a shelf rather than in a location that makes sense. The tiramisu at dessert was good. Unfortunately, the cappuccino was just awful. Starbucks could’ve done better. In fact, Starbucks does do better. I really wish this restaurant worked. I’m not gonna return here cause there’s so many better restaurants in the North End. The best thing I could say about this restaurant was the people were friendly and the ambience was nice.

    Loved this place! Incredible Italian food! You need to be okay with a lively, busy, loud (in a good way) atmosphere with a very intimate setting but man did we enjoy our time at Casarecce!

    We arrived 5:30PM on a Thursday prior to concert. Only one other person came in to eat. The Italian food was disappointing - a heavier pasta than we like - sauces were nothing special - certainly not bad but not the special meal in the North End we had hoped for. Servers were attentive.

    Always a good meal, staff is attentive and pleasant Only thing I would suggest is that they should offer a cocktail before asking to take your order.
