When we arrived, four staff seen us but didn’t acknowledge us . Eventually we got taken to a both which was nice. We were asked if we been before, said no the man explained we’re everything was and in which order the buffet ran . Quickly got served with our Prosecco lovely and chilled. Unfortunately never got asked if we would require a soft drink as two of our party of four were driving. Onto the buffet nicely presented but only three types of sandwiches, no vegan or vegetarian options ? No ingredients listed on anything. The cake selection was good but it was duplicated. They ran out of glasses for water. I had to ask someone for milk, then ask same person for sugar ! Only brown left ? We had no milk or sugar or salt/ pepper on our table, hence why had to ask . But asking for the basic ingredients for tea at an afternoon tea , really let it down. Had high hopes for this as i bought if for a gift . I must add there was live music when we arrived, he was very good .

Not Gourmet as described. Sandwiches dry, bread with toppings squidgy not fresh/crusty. Quiche was nice, sausage rolls mostly pastry - nice n hot though. Toppings on breads nice - coronation chicken. Desserts a plenty, looked very lovely but all very sickly synthetically sweet - ate the strawberry from tart. Good was able to exchange a Prosecco for soft drink. Service and staff very attentive, keeping food replenished. Nice that was a guy playing guitar. Very annoying and confusing that loud alarm bell kept going off’ people worried was fire alarm (seems events staff were using a smoke machine). Nice place, was busy, good set up but food could be much better. Glad we didn’t pay the full price as advertised of £32pp.

Lovely afternoon tea. Sandwiches (tuna, cheese & ham & egg) tasty but a little bit uninspired. Lovely little scones with jam & cream and many tasty cakes on top. As much tea & coffee as you wanted. We were able to change Prosecco for wine (which was our preference) Staff were all great. Attentive but not in your face. Overall a good experience 😁

Unlimited afternoon tea great as always. Able to swap prosecco for softdrink, tea/coffee/hot chocolate unlimited available. Food and cakes lovely. Only thing i would prefer is individual jams rather than the machine or even small tubs available for the jam/cream rather than having to put on big plates.
