Cassariano – the perfect expression of passion and culinary art in the form of “Contemporary Italian Cuisine”.

The restaurant’s name is a combination of both partners last names; Luca Cassani and Antonio Pariano, both born and raised in Northern Italy. After years working together in the restaurant business both Luca & Antonio made the decision to venture out on their own and open Cassariano Italian Eatery.

Driven by their strong passion for food and a deep love for their profession, these partners prepare authentic contemporary Italian cuisine while cultivating a casual, relaxed atmosphere for their patrons.

Cassariano is the perfect blend of Bistro flavors and fine cuisine. We look forward to exceeding your expectations!

    First time customer and had a really exceptional experience. Andrew our server was attentive to us and ensured we received the best dining experience we can. Truly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Italian food.

    We went there for our anniversary, everything was wonderful. The expresso martinis were good and so was the Strawberry & Basil martini. We got Gamberetti Scottati for an appetizer, it’s Sautéed shrimps, tomato sauce, arugola. I don’t think I would have ordered it if a friend had not recommended it, but I’m so glad I did; It was really good and the sauce was yummy for dipping your bread in. I got the pan seared Ahi tuna, and it was really good. My husband got the veal stuffed ravioli with mushrooms and Marsala. That was amazing. The portions are really good, fair pricing, my husband said he would have paid double for his ravioli. I guess the only thing I was disappointed in was, they knew it was our anniversary and they didn’t do anything, but I’m not upset, it was so yummy.

    Requested quietest area for our table if 6 and enjoyed the round table in corner by front door. Great evening especially when noisy bar crowd left. Excellent food and service

    Six friends dined outside. It was quiet - lovely atmosphere. Great food. Great wine and overall a beautiful evening.

    Overall moderately priced. Service good and food was very good. Very busy so reservation is highly recommended.

    We had a reservation but one was not needed. Our waiter, name was not very attentive we got wine from connoisseur, daughter wanted a drink, but he was nowhere to be found. We saw other tables getting bread we had to ask to find our waiter to get the drink for daughter and bread. Then he disappeared again. It was not busy not sure where he kept going to. We finally ordered our meals, my daughter and I shared a meal spaghetti and veal meatballs, the meatballs were very dry and tasteless. Pasta sauce was also tasteless. We not be coming back anytime soon.

    The best Italian restaurant in Lakewood Ranch. Sundays are especially grand when Sarah is singing and playing her music - you won’t be disappointed!
