                                                                                I hate to say this but I had the worst birthday tonight! I had reservations of 10 for 8pm, they kept telling me my table wasn’t ready ! They wanted us to wait longer for the party that was there and they wanted to give me that table but we had to keep waiting, my party was already waiting so we ended up having to sit inside with no view ! Once we sat down we didn’t get our drinks for about 25 minutes later. Then four people wanted the wedge salad but we was told you guys were out of it, the food wasn’t good at all. I don’t think we’ll be coming back here for birthdays .

                                                                                Castaway is an amazing location. Elegant, sophisticated and welcoming to all. We got to sit in the patio/veranda view section overlooking the city and beyond. The food was delicious and had no leftovers from us.

                                                                                Made the reservation online and made specific arrangements for my friends anniversary, even called the restaurant before hand to be placed in a specific table, arrived and hour earlier as well, but when arriving to the restaurant they didn’t pay attention to any if the notes or placed us in a different place that wasn’t requested, what’s the point of making an reservation and details online of when you arrive they don’t care to respect it or pay attention to it, and then do the bare minimum to help the situation, wasn’t please this last time we went

However, terrible/inattentive table service (was there on a Sunday eve dinner not crowded). And food is over-dressed, salty, not all that great for the price. Cocktails are very pricy and don't live up to the descriptions.

                                                                                They gave us a perfect table on the balcony. Our server Gabriel was wonderfullll and the manager was very nice, opps forgot his name. The food was yummy, so overall a great experience! Kinda pricy so be prepared.

                                                                                I had a great evening with my girlfriend here. We ordered the caviar frites, Caesar salad, the filet mignon, honey roasted root vegetables, 50/50 mashed potatoes, and the mac n cheese. The food was great, ambience was amazing, the views of the city were beautiful. Our server Jonah was one of the best servers I’ve ever had in any restaurant in general. Overall, my girlfriend and I had an amazing time and we will for sure be visiting again.
