Castaways is a new restaurant located in the heart of downtown Port Jefferson. We are from the same restaurant group that brought you Chops and Drift 82. We will offer some of our most popular dishes from the two restaurants as well as our own new menu items. Our food is tropical, Caribbean and South Pacific inspired to go along with our amazing Tiki - Bar. We look forward to having you!

Extra touches / attention for our anniversary was much appreciated. Food and Service was great. Can't wait to go back!

Our first time here … went for restaurant week, but we ordered off the regular menu. Seafood bisque was amazing as well as the steak and lobster sandwich !!

The food was excellent. Prices were high- ala cart- think high end steak house. Had to ask for bread and the water to be refilled a few times. Ambiance does not align with the food quality and prices but overall was very satisfied with the food!

We had the tuna pizza for an appetizer and it was out of this world. The entrees burger and Mahi Mahi were fantastic. Biggest burger I have ever seen. The service was spectacular. Our server was on top of everything as well as the manager recommended

We had a great meal, but more importantly, the server of our lunch was so kind and helpful, as we asked about the town and asked her for recommendations. She came back with a handwritten note and she was very attentive our our table. Kindness and smiles matter. We enjoyed our lunch and will be back.

This was an exceptional anniversary dinner celebration! We started at happy hour ! Mat the bar tender was so professional! Our martinis were delicious! This place is a gem with the nautical decor and all the detail! Note the floor so beautiful! Our dinner with hostess Patrick was amazing. He was extremely informative and helpful to our needs. The food is delicious. My husband had the fra diovolo and so delicious and huge portion. I had the Chilean seabass which was out of the world, so tasty!

this was our third time there for dinner over the past 2 weeks each time was excellent. Food did not disappoint and our server Lauren was stellar. Lauren was our server last week and she remembered us and details as to what we preferred. Castaway has become our new local go to place!
