    We went for my Birthday, the food was amazing! It’s pricey, but definitely worth it. We started with the calamari, it was delicious. We both had the lobster carbonara, I could eat that every night it was so amazing! The chocolate birthday cake was also the perfect end to the meal. We sat under the tree, very comfy, great ambiance! Definitely recommend!

    Our first time here to enjoy some Italian food. The pasta & beef cheek for Valentine’s Day was so delicious. It was a bit noisy & we felt very rushed tho . Great staff !

    Have been coming to this restaurant for many years. The menu used to be much broader. Was very disappointed. I chose the chicken cannelloni as my least worst option. I was concerned about the use of Gorgonzola cheese and asked the waitress about it. She felt it was not overpowering. I found it was quite strong. I did not taste the other ingredients. The wine selection by the glass was good. You have to pay for focaccia. I have had much better. Focaccia. Sadly I will not return unless I see a better menu.

    Wonderful experience at Castello Italiana in The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. As a vegan diner, it can quite often be difficult to eat at Restaurants. Options are limited, if any at all. When the Chef heard he had a vegan guest arriving, he went above and beyond! He came to the table, eager to modify any dish I desired and it was delicious. Can't wait to come back!

    Castello for New Year's Eve the past two years, and they do not disappoint. I'm nutritionally Vegan, and the set menu was spot on. The music, however, was too eclectic and left us confused as what ambience they were trying to create. It's the little things that differentiate. We'll be back again soon.

    Highly recommend! From the very beginning you are genuinely greeted and welcomed at the front desk. All the servers were very pleasant and professional! My husband and I had dinner there for our first night in Banff and loved the experience as a whole. Cacio e Pepe, baked gnocchi and sirloin steak were all divine! The drinks were well balanced and delicious. We would definitely return for amazing Italian cuisine! Thank you to all the staff for their service.
