   Catalina was at its brilliant best today on a perfect Sydney summer day with the shimmering harbour complementing our outstanding food, service and drinks. The girls kicked off with a lovely cocktail and drop of Veuve followed by a fantastic Chablis recommended by the slick staff. Every dish from the entrees, mains and desserts were delicious. Be back very soon. Thanks for making it such a special day.

   Catalina's has everything vista, good food and wine, excellent and friendly service. Very rare to have everything in one place in Sydney.

   The food was fabulous. We loved that the chef thanked us at the first course. Then the service ended. The agency staff that delivered the meals didn’t know what they were serving. The killer was your rude “French” sommelier. Terrible wine service and the. Asked to move at the end of the meal so they could reset. Petit fours dumped with dessert and no coffee service until later. Disappointed with the service. It lets you down and I won’t be recommending you. A shame as the kitchen works so hard on the fabulous food.

   Thank you for your review Garth. I have let the chefs know how much you enjoyed your food. As for your service, I am so sorry you felt let down. It is not the norm, I promise you. CATALINA is well known for outstanding service, and we have many fabulous wine and food waitstaff. We don't use agency staff, but we do have quite a number of new staff, mainly food runners, (being such a busy time of year), and there were probably too many newbies on the one shift. So thank you for bringing it to our attention. We have taken note of everything in your review, and we have doubled down on training in all areas. I fear we have lost you, however if you ever decide to come back to try our gorgeous food again, please book through me, and I will ensure a first class experience. Judy McMahon Owner

   Food was lovely and service good. It was however very very noisy and we were seated in a wind tunnel which was not comfortable and took away from the dining experience.

   One of the best restaurants in Sydney and the locations is beautiful. Love the place. After 18 years of going there I still love it. Food fantastic, service very good, is easy to find parking. PERFECT

    Food was amazing, and I mean all the dishes. Exceptional. Such a lovely surprise that the executive chef came out to greet us! That was a big highlight for us. Great view. The only downside was that it was very very noisy in the restaurant. Would definitely be back again and again. Thank you!

It's been a real hit with everyone, especially the opportunity to meet the chefs behind the food. Thank you so much for coming, and we look forward to seeing you in the restaurant again. A tip regarding noise: I know the restaurant can be noisy when it's full of people having a good time, so please request a table on the balcony.
