Catalina is an iconic harbourside restaurant, family owned and operated since 1994. It is a light airy modern space with wonderful views, floor to ceiling glass, and outdoor balcony seating. The menu is Mediterranean-inspired and features sustainable seafood from the best producers Australia-wide, and grass fed and free range meat and poultry. The wine list is one of the best wine lists in Australia, featuring over 800 wines, and receiving a 3 Goblet rating every year in the Wine List of the Year Awards. The service is welcoming, friendly, informal and yet, professional. An ideal venue for all occasions: from everyday dining, to business lunches, to celebrations, to wedding receptions and events.     Good, but hideously expensive. Extra charges on menu items smack of nickel & diming (in Dollars), but the food & service were top of the bill (excuse the pun).

    We came to Catalina for the first time as a family, to celebrate an 18th birthday & end of HSC and a 16th birthday. The food was amazing and the service was spectacular! We don’t often eat out at high end restaurants, but the waiter made us feel very comfortable, very friendly and explained the menu well. The salmon entree, beef fillet main and lemon tart were absolute standouts for me. We will definitely return for a special occasion again!

    Had a lovely meal at Catalina last night. The food was excellent and really hit the mark - you can tell the kitchen knows what they're doing. Loved exploring their extensive wine list too, plenty of great options to choose from. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive, though we did catch one or two who seemed to be having an off night, and there were a couple of minor service hiccups. Nothing major though. My only real gripe is how noisy it gets inside - the lack of any sound absorption on the walls turns dinner into a bit of a shouting match. Next time I'll definitely opt for a table outside to dodge the noise factor. Would come back for sure - the food's worth it! Just stick to outdoor seating if you want to actually hear your dinner conversation.

    We never leave Catalina’s disappointed. The food, service and atmosphere are unbeatable. The staff go the extra mile which is not something I can always say about our fine dining experiences elsewhere. See you again soon!

    We have been going to Catalina for the past 20 years. We are always amazed at the food and service, it just gets better and better every year. We had Xmas Eve dinner this year and the Peach Bellini and my lobster risotto were the highlight for me! Thank you
