Catalina is an iconic harbourside restaurant, family owned and operated since 1994. It is a light airy modern space with wonderful views, floor to ceiling glass, and outdoor balcony seating. The menu is Mediterranean-inspired and features sustainable seafood from the best producers Australia-wide, and grass fed and free range meat and poultry. The wine list is one of the best wine lists in Australia, featuring over 800 wines, and receiving a 3 Goblet rating every year in the Wine List of the Year Awards. The service is welcoming, friendly, informal and yet, professional. An ideal venue for all occasions: from everyday dining, to business lunches, to celebrations, to wedding receptions and events. Celebrated our anniversary and went with the 7 course menu - great selection of dishes. Toothfish was a stand out, my husband paired his wines and we have added several to our list of faves. Looked after by the delightful Roberto and met Head Chef Alan who explained the courses and the sourcing if the delicious Merimbula oysters. Fabulous spot on the water for a long leisurely lunch.

My sister-in-law and I had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed our night at Catalina. Thank you so much for accommodating my request to be seated at a table with a great view and also appreciate the nice touch with the “welcome” sweets for my sister-in-law after dinner. The food (large portions), drinks and ambience at the venue was great and to top it off, we had perfect weather! Please also send our thanks to our waiter, Federico, who was very attentive during the night and kindly offered me sunnies when I was being high-beamed by the sun. Thank you!

The most outstanding restaurant and food I have ever had. The service was impeccable. We all had an excellent experience. Will recommend to everyone. The tooth fish was out of this world. The best fish I have ever had. My Dad was a fisherman and I am a lover of fish. So happy my friends Andrew and Glen recommended this restaurant.

Stunning! Catalina was recommended by friends who used to live in Sydney. We had the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing. A total delight. Exquisite food. Beautiful restaurant location. Top class service. Perfect in every way.
