   Our family was looking forward to a nice evening at a reasonably priced steakhouse, but I guess you get what you pay for. The service was terrible. It took 25 minutes for the waiter to come around and even take a drink order, then the appetizers came out before our cocktails did. We ordered a second serving of pretzel bread, which never made it to the table. The Wagyu fillet probably went over the best at the table. The shrimp cocktail was good also. The butter fillets were just OK, not the best cut. The salmon had no flavor at all. The broccolini was doused in lemon basically masking the flavor of the dish. The atmosphere was good. However, we ate in the basement dining, and it was very noisy and difficult to talk with one another despite the round table set up. I would consider returning for a cocktail at the bar, however, I don’t know that I would choose this place for dinner again.

   It’s always great to dine at Catch Steak! Specially for the food. This time they sat us in a smaller room downstairs… it’s nice but I believe more suitable for bigger parties and/or adults. We were with our 10 year old and in general I prefer the second room ambiance. Also music it was a little bit loud downstairs. One detail I didn’t appreciate is that it was my husband’s birthday, we ordered one desee for the table and they charged it… usually in many restaurants they would give that as a courtesy to the birthday person. Not a big deal… but those details make a difference. Anyway I will be back … food is great !

   We enjoyed ourselves tremendous. Fantastic atmosphere. THE place to be in Aspen!! Great food. Will definitely be a staple on our annual girls trip. Thank you!!!

   Definitely one of the best restaurants in Aspen! Great vibe, wonderful service and Food is outstanding. You basically cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. We have been to catch steak many times and it never disappoints. PS, best martini in Aspen.

   We went last year and enjoyed ourselves, however this year after we arrived on time, we were asked to wait at the bar, which is no problem, so we had martinis and waited. We waited over half an hour and after asking about our table the hostess was rude and dismissive and we were then taken to the absolute worst table in the restaurant, in the basement, in the corner by the bussing station. The food is still very good and our waiter and sommelier were very nice.

    Always a special experience. Our 10th time in the last few years and never disappoints. Food is amazing from pretzels up front to baked Alaska for desert. Steaks are phenomenal. Be prepared for an over the top expense, but we keep coming back.
