   We had booked to be seated in the main dining room and had travelled across town to have dinner there. Instead we were shoved in the garden room which was freezing cold and lacked atmosphere / not what we booked Our waiter was the only thing that saved this experience. Food average. Was really looking forward to it but it was rubbish.

   We went for my mother’s birthday. The place looked beautiful. Gorgeous decor. But that’s all that was good about this place. Food was tasteless. Steak was over cooked and some dishes were burned! Even desert was not good! We ordered beignets, chocolate moose cake and lemon tart. How can someone screw up this desert? Well, they did! The service was pretty bad too! Our waiter kept disaapearing to the point that we had to go look for him to get some service. Honestly, We should have just get up and leave but didn’t want to create a scene. Do not recommend!

   Reservation was at 7:45 wasn’t seated until 8:30 standing around and we had somewhere to be after dinner that’s the whole Point of making reservations. The music extremely loud. So loud that if you’re dining at a table you can’t even have a conversation with your guest without yelling across the table. The servers when they walk by bump into your chair all night and the back of your head with no apologies. Spilled the food on the table at one point. And the customer service when waiting to be seated at the beginning was very rude and disrespectful. We chose this place to enjoy our trip to New York and end it off on a good note and it ruined the whole trip. Overrated, is not what it seems like. Do not go here for an enjoyable dining experience.

   We weren’t seated until 45 minutes past our reservation, so very frustrating. Lots of large groups, so tables for 2 are small tables right next to each other. It was super loud, so hard to have a conversation. Atmosphere is fun and food is good, but overall not the experience I expected.

   Good and service were excellent. Expensive and portions not very large but because the food is really worth it!

    We for the happy hour, we booked a reservation specifically a the bar and we got sat at some tables that didn’t have table service and we had to go to the bar to order which was extremely disappointing. I went up to the bar to order and there was a long line and the bar tenders were only attending to the people seated at the bar. We finally got to move to the bar after some people left and with me asking to switch. Food was good, lobster rolls would not recommend. We ordered the “chips and dip” and it tasted amazing! However, It came with SO MUCH crème fresh and literally 4 lays chips. We asked for more chips and the server said “no it’s chefs choice” Even though we were willing to pay. The servers were rude, the service was not good. Will not be returning unfortunately..
