   Do not book at reservation at 700pm Christmas Eve. Our party was several minutes late to be seated which plays into the dinner. Our appetizer arrived before our first drink and we found that curious. Our dinner arrived and before we were finished eating our main meal our very apologetic waitress brought us the dessert menu telling us the kitchen would be closing so we would need to order ahead! We said no then she came back and told us it was last call. This was about 45 minutes into our time there. The waitress told us not to rush but it was clear they wanted us out. Our empty plates sat there while we finished our wine. I asked to speak to the manager who was completely unapologetic in that she said they close every Christmas Eve at 800pm. I said that was not mentioned in open table and it was our first time there. She said they typically plan for two hours for customers and we had less than an hour. The other couple who came in were still trying to eat as you could hear the staff talking very loudly as they were cleaning up. After spending hundreds of dollars on a great meal I’m furious management didn’t take my concerns seriously. Shame on you.

   The four of us all ordered different dishes and without exception, our meals were delicious. The service was excellent as always and we will be returning once again to enjoy a wonderful evening

   I find the CattleBaron to be consistent, good value, and the staff are attentive and efficient. I will continue to go there. The one thing they could take a bit more seriously, however, are food sensitivities. I made it pretty clear to out waitress that I could not have any dairy in my meal. The potato was ok, but the veggies obviously had butter and the meat was swimming in some kind of gravy. In spite of this, I would still recommend people eat here. They generally do a good job, and like I say, consistency is impressive. Definitely a good place to take someone on a business lunch.

   We had the prime rib and rack of lamb. Both were excellent and the service was great also. Highly recommended.

   There were 4 of us 2 ladies order lobster Dinner,awesome,awesome,lobster were big 1 male ordered Prime Rib with all the sides,wow,tender and juicy 1 male ordered shrimp,onion soup,calamari great Everything was very good, We we’re celebrating a friends bd,and you guys did awesome for her Our waiter,was great,he was so busy and he still had time for us We will be back for sure

   Another fantastic meal at CattleBaron. You can never go wrong with the dry ribs. Not sure what they put in the glaze/marinade, but the flavour is amazing! Everyone in our group ordered the steak sandwich and were not disappointed. The steaks were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Looking forward to our next visit.
