Cattlemens is a an American steak house and grill. The dining room is designed like an Old West-style saloon. Everything about the decor is an homage to cowboys, gold rush towns and cooking over a campfire. Each night there is a different menu item on special, whether it is the slow-cooked prime rib, 20-ounce T-bone or surf n' turf 8-ounce sirloin and jumbo shrimp combo. Steaks are king at Cattlemens, with several cuts of meat and different seasoning options. In addition to these hearty cuts of beef, there are several rib options guaranteed to fill up even the hungriest diner. These include a rack of baby back pork ribs, classic dry-rub beef ribs or an herb-crusted rack of lamb. The bar menu, or saloon menu as its known at Cattlemens, has several fine spirits, craft cocktails and cold draft beer.

Nicole was a fabulous server. The restaurant is under construction & had some issues with AC dripping on me. But the food was great & will go back again. Very reasonable prices!

Onion rings were great but very big in size. I understand I'm in Texas it's just that I don't want that much onion. Personal preference. Salads were way overdressed which was borderline inedible. Steak was really good and cooked perfectly but mashed potatoes were cold. Sent them back and got warm potatoes. They are trying. The dining room felt off for a place being decades old. Maybe we were in a modern room? Would have preferred a more authentic room. It was fine-can't fault the place for that. All in all it was a nice meal.

Despite the construction going on, it was amazing like always. I’m excited to see the place once everything is done. Our server was beyond fantastic!!

My husband ordered a medium steak and it came out more raw than rare should even be. Sent it back and it was returned only a little better but also had no flavor or seasoning on it. They are remodeling and it has lost the fun, cozy steakhouse vibe.

for the cost, we were underwhelmed. we expected the traditional cattlemen it’s been around for a long time and within the new ownership it’s just not the same, it’s like a foodie place now rather than a good old steakhouse

The steak was amazing! My grilled shrimp was much spicier than I like so I didn't eat much. When our waitress asked about it and I told her, our check reflected a refund. We appreciated that so much and added it to our tip.

The Cattlemen’s Steakhouse while still in a state of renovation certainly looks much better than it used to…it was in great need of updating. The food was excellent! Steaks were cooked to perfection, seasoned To be very tasty and the cuts were great. The salads and sides were equally good. The service was excellent as well! Taylor Sheridan is giving Cattlemen’s the special touches that will make it competitive with the other high end steakhouses in Ft. Worth and I can’t wait to see it when the renovations are complete.

I had a steak salad, which was very good. My brother had steak and shrimp and did not like the seasoning on the shrimp. I tried one and it was a bit overpowering. Another friend got the ribeye and thoroughly enjoyed it.
