Originaire de Venise et avec des établissements à Londres et à West Hollywood, le Cecconi est devenu une destination acclamée par la critique qui met en vedette une cuisine simplement préparée inspirée des vénitiens. La conception du restaurant comprend d'antiques planchers verts comme le Nil, faits de tuiles dénudées, une gracieuse terrasse au jardin avec des arbres "Silver Buttonwood" munie d'un auvent rétractable pour une impression d'intérieur à l'extérieur. The food was good but the 20% gratitude was ridiculous, service was far from deserving of that. Main reason - We had a very large table beside us, upon that table finishing their dinner, about 8-10 people hovered over our table, standing over us as we sat down - speaking and bumping us as we ate our appetizers, which we didn’t finish. We felt like we were in the center of stage with the amount of people and when looking up we, we had view of below the waist areas of people. Who wants to see that while they eat? We asked the waiters to please ask them to move away and surprisingly they did not seem to want to ask, but after telling the staff twice, they kindly moved them over a few inches. This restaurant has a bar area, which we were not in, therefore, I guess it’s ok to speak over others meals and bump them while they eat and pop a $200 + bill after from the restaurant. When we didn’t finished our food, we were even told “ you didn’t even eat half of it “.. it’s just rude. Clearly the waiter held off serving our dinner due to the crowd of standing people around us.

Great ambience and service was pretty solid. Not at all impressed with the food - the meatballs were inedible - dense and hard as rocks. Eggplant parm and rigatoni bolognese were better but nothing special. Food came literally seconds after ordering so it was all clearly premade and heated up. Bottle of veuve, a nice brunello and chocolate flourless cake made the evening lovely and we had a very nice older Italian gentleman as our server. I suspect the veal and steak dishes may be their specialities so perhaps we ordered wrong. Just not what we expected food wise.

It’s a beautiful restaurant and the service was very good. We ordered lamb chops medium rare. Most of them were medium and a few were medium well. The filet was medium as ordered but was tougher than expected. Roasted rosemary potatoes were overcooked and dry. Eggplant parmigiana was excellent. Octopus appetizer was good. Meatball appetizer was delicious. Overall, the food was good not great. Given the price point, we were disappointed. We have had much better meals at half the price. It wasn’t bad, it just fell short. Perhaps if we had ordered just eggplant and a pasta the value would have been better. We probably wouldn’t return.

Service was slow. The food was ok. Beautiful restaurant and a great option if you are staying at the Fountainbleau.

There were lots of kids there, and there were people in tank tops and caps. I love kids, and I wear tank tops and caps, but I don’t want to pay close to $300 for a meal when I’m surrounded by those things. We had a delicious appetizer, but my Caesar salad was not much to brag about. Our entrees were okay, but I had expected to be wowed. Our server was overwhelmed, and that was bad. I felt sorry for him, but like I said, that’s a lot of money for a meal on Tuesday night. Parking was ridiculous and we used the Valet. It just disappointed the hell out of me.

Good evening out. Only issue was the restaurant didn’t have the table we requested several weeks ahead available. Otherwise a delightful experience.
