We are two New York hospitality industry veterans, and Cecily is our Greenpoint home. Originally conceived during the pandemic as a mission-driven neighborhood restaurant with a deep and thoughtful wine list, where we could provide our employees meaningful profit sharing and ownership, and our guests incredible service. Cecily values a sense of place and neighborhood, delicious sustainable food, and responsible stewardship in our community.

The vibes are immaculate and the selection of cocktails and wine are strong. The meals are twists on simple food items, for example the Cara Cara oranges, but the value of those orange with an oil topping are extremely high priced for the product delivered. Portions are very small in comparison with the price point. I had a 9:15 meal in which I was quite hungry but the cost and size were not in line leading to a $400 meal amongst 4 friends and a trip to a pizza place on the ay hone to avoid breaking the bank. Would absolutely go again for a cocktail and an app prior to another dinner reservation.

Lovely food, impeccable vibes, complex cocktails, and a perfectly tailored wine list - nothing we had was anything less than perfect. Front of house staff is attentive and make excellent recommendations. Food highlights of the night were the endive salad, duck and onkonomiyaki rice.

Such a cute little wine bar and restaurant. Great food with a small frequently changing menu. The okonomaki rice was the best. The staff was amazingly friendly and on point.

Second time’s a charm! I love how the scallop dish evolves on the menu. Great service and wine. Consistently good. I think the menu our first time was stronger than our second time. But love seeing how you translate the seasons. Our whole table agreed that the duck was the absolute best thing we ate. Would love to see something other than SheWolf Bakery on the menu since they are so common and not that exciting to partake in as they are in all the Greenpoint restaurants - and you are more unique than that. Even an in house sourdough or bread program would only add to this experience. Thanks again for a great time!
