Cellar Door Restaurant offers one the best wood fired pizza in Etobicoke. We workwith simple quality ingredients to put together some of the best dishes. Make sure to try some of our signature neopolitan pizzas such as the fig za, rabbit za, spicy house sausage za, the meat lover za. Make sure to try out our freshly hand made pastas such as the pesto chicken or the lobster ravioli. Our brown butter lobster risotta is a game changer.

The meals were very salty. The service took forever. Waited so long just for the appetizers.

I went to Cellar door about 8 years ago and it was fantastic. It is not the same place anymore.

Menu was not at all what was on website. No calamari, arancini for appetizer No salmon. For a bottle of pino Grigio $68. At lcbo $16.95 quite the mark up. Meals were good. Chairs could have been at the table we were at low and a bit wobbly. Waitress was constantly sniffing not sure if allergies or what but a bit concerning since serving food. She was however very pleasant constantly apologizing for inconsistencies however did not offer any compensation for this

We were seated at back of the restaurant with minimum lighting. Felt that we not part of the overall restaurant experience. Waiter did not ask if wanted any drinks? A couple to the right of us stated that they were waiting over 20 mins for a waiter, then after a few more minutes, they left the restaurant. We were not impressed! I ordered the calcio and pepe pasta which was good, however, my wife and son both ordered the pasta with meat sauce. This pasta dish was so strong with a black pepper taste, that both my wife and son could not finish their plate, managing less than half. Called over waiter and explained the situation, and was nice enough to offer a new pasta dish, but we said no, and also removed these dishes from our bill. It appeared that you were short staffed, but even the staff that was there, was not very attentive? We had to ask for the water bottle since it was not offered when arrived?

Our server (who said he was only 2 weeks on the job) was fantastic! He was the only front of house person on & despite having to handle 4 larger groups by himself, the service was great. We had a pepperoni pizza, mushroom ravioli & a chicken pasta dish and they were all great!

Food was excellent but they were sold out of 4 of the 6 red wines on the menu. And server was somewhat disorganized. Also espresso machine broken so no after dinner cappuccino

So great to have a local restaurant with this level of ambience, service and great food. A true local gem!

Place was empty on a Thursday night?? Literally empty at 7:30pm. They did not have the rib-eye steak we wanted. They did not have the wine we wanted. ' Garlic bread' is actually a garlic pizza ... but it didn't really taste like garlic?? Pastas were decent. The margarita pizza was flavorful but the crust was wet and very thin. Ambience was blah. Will not go back.
