A vibrant happy hour with a great wine list, beer & cocktail menu, Central offers a lunch & dinner 3 course prix-fixe menu.

Located on the corner of 11 St. & Pennsylvania Ave NW , walking distance to the White House, Theatres, Capitol One Arena, The National Mall & Monuments.

Private dining for up to 16 guest, semi-private for 20 guest, & private events for up to 200.

We offer a $10.00 parking discount for dinner guests that park in the 10th St. garage between E St. and Pennsylvania Avenue starting at 5:00 PM from Monday-Saturday. Please ask the host or your server to receive a validation ticket.

Delicious French restaurant. Highlights included the onion soup, "faux" gras, shrimp cocktail and the hanger steak. Main concern is the noise level...very loud which made it hard to hold a conversation amongst 4 people.

Each of our party of three had the salmon, which was outstanding, after starting with the gougeres and the chicken nuggets-both delicious! We shared the profiteroles at the end, which we enjoyed immensely. Thanks for the attentive, unhurried service

Dined at Central for lunch during winter DC Restaurant Week. Food was excellent as was the Service. The RW options available for appetizer, entree and dessert were varied and excellent and a good value. The total was less than what we would have spent ordering from the regular menu, though I do plan to return in the future to sample other items on the menu.

I had been wanting to go here and finally decided to go with a friend for my birthday. The dining room was elegant but comfortable— the kind of place you can dress up or not. It was Restaurant Week but I decided to order off the regular menu. I had the beet salad with goat cheese— a classic combo but elevated by a truly excellent cheese. My main dish was the Moules Frites. The mussels were plump and juicy, but the broth could have been more flavorful. Profiteroles for dessert were the perfect ending— with a dramatic sparkler in it for my birthday! I also had a lovely glass of Sancerre. The service was exceptional, too. Overall a great evening!

My wife and I came for Restaurant Week. We had salad, fried chicken and salmon. For dessert we had lava cake. The food was outstanding and the portions were substantial. The dessert was wonderful. The service was very, very, good. The meal was not to be missed. The cost was $35 per person, plus tip and tax. Central Michel Richard should not be missed. Keep on doing what you are doing.
