   It was a pleasant experience and great views. The food was good but not worth the price listed. Mainly great for the iconic nature of the restaurant

   Great views next to the lake, food is delicious, great service. Relaxing walk to and from the restaurant. Must try.

   Beautiful location and atmosphere Service was good. We ordered the lobster pasta and steak sandwich. Also the crabmeat appetizer. The lobster was spoiled so we sent it back. Was switched for a new plate and it out hesitation by staff. Excellent on the second one. The crabmeat avocado salad was disappointing. Just too mushy and no bread or cracker to accompany the item.

   Always wanted to eat here. Starters (calamari and pate) were very good and main course (burger and chicken) were excellent. Obligatory NY cheesecake to finish. Great views over the lake. I imagine it's beautiful in the spring/summer months but was well worth the visit.

   View is pretty good. I tried burger & bread & Squish soup. Bread is so dry. but price is fair. Burger is too salty for me. Fries dip sauce is pretty good. Not bad. Nice place to hang out.

    I recently visited Boathouse and had a somewhat mixed experience. The food was delicious—each dish was thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and presented beautifully. The atmosphere of the restaurant is truly stunning, with its iconic design that adds to the overall charm of the place. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. While our server was okay, it was the hostess who made a poor first impression. She was unusually rude and seemed uninterested in helping us settle in or answering simple questions. It’s disappointing when the service doesn’t match the quality of the food and setting, as it really impacts the overall experience. While I’d love to return for the great food and ambiance, I do hope the management addresses the service issues—especially with staff interactions like those from the hostess.
