   Valentine’s Day menu looked great, but the execution was poor. The prime rib itself was a good cut but the green bean, carrot, and mashed potato sides were average at very best. They had music playing and the selection went from Vampire Weekend songs to “Closing Time” (yes, the one you’re thinking of) to anything and everything in between which killed the ambiance. And then, with the ample tip we left the waiter because he was very attentive and it wasn’t his fault the food and music sucked, the bill came out to nearly $200 for our crappy Valentines Day experience. Not sure how the restaurant is during normal operating times, but they flopped with their 2025 Valentine’s Day special.

   Disappointed in the lobster chowder. Expected cream-based but it was like NY style clam chowder but with lobster. Nice amount of lobster in it but had to scoop out pcs and cut in half to eat. My main course lobster tail was fine, happy it was loosened from shell. Cooked correctly. Enough drawn butter. I asked for mashed potatoes instead of the rice and glad I did They were great. The asparagus was delicious! Generous portion. Perfectly cooked. The chocolate mousse dessert was Out Of This World delicious!!! Have been to the Century House many times before, for holidays, conferences, wedding receptions and just for dinner with family. Always reliable. We’ll be back 😊

   Great Valentines prix fixe menu. Good selection of Entrees. Food arrived quickly and was very tasty. Bar service good, wine selection good. Server Dawn was five stars. Nice experience

   I love Prime Rib special night. The popovers are a particular favorite. However, the night I went they were overbaked and lacked their usual flavor. Also, they never seem to get my meat temperature right; I ask for medium and I usually end up with medium rare.

   Desert was a fail. Is they offer you the “cherry cobbler brûlée” please pass…. It is a chocolate crème brûlée with maraschino cherries on top. And it is awful.

   Oh my we had no idea - thank you for letting us know. We change the flavor with each batch so we won't be able to check that recipe but I have advised chef and he is on the case. Have a great weekend

   This is a delightfully old school restaurant. Everything is done with care and hospitality in mind. The food is delicious and feels like someone who really takes pride in their food cooked it for you. Our server, Claudia, was fun and casual without being intrusive. She was terrific Can't say enough good things about our experience Highly recommend!

   Everything was perfect. Our server Steve did everything right. He was awesome and we will definitely request him next time. Only downfall is the noise but you can’t control that.

   We love the Century House and frequent often. We don’t ever have issues with the food! Wednesday prime rib special was just ok - my piece had more fat than meat, green beans and carrots were so undercooked they were too hard to eat

    Service was excellent. Food was perfectly prepared and delicious. Everyone in our party was completely satisfied. The crème belle was the best I have ever tasted.
