   An authentic Japanese restaurant reflecting the many fine meals we enjoyed in that country. Inspiring food and great ingredients, freshly prepared and presented with flair. The Spanner Crab Chawanmushi was a stand out, as was the range of yakitori and the yuzu coconut icecream for dessert. All washed down with a sparkling lychee spritz!

   A great venue for an intimate feed or even for a small group dinner. We enjoyed a team dinner at Chaco and found it to be the perfect option. Don't book too early though - like us, you might find yourself welcoming all of the staff members arriving for their shift - which did make the experience a little awkward. There seemed to be only two servers working on the evening - having said that, they did manage the tables well whilst seatings were in place - the clearing of tables was not a priority. Overall we really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the overall experience.

   Great menu. Felt like a good amount of food. Lovely staff. Were very helpful and accomodating to a dietary requirement. Will be back for sure.

   First time. Tuna sashimi starter was dressed in flavoursome oils fantastic, fresh & unique. Bit of theatre watching the chef’s at the grill. Wagu main was my personal favourite ok though the miso eggplant have it a run for its money.

   We had a lovely table for four near the window ! Great meal we opted for Alta carte rather than banquet ! Delicious food delicious ice cream and they even allowed a sake tasting before we chose the sake. Lovely service good value ! Only down side was the wooden stalls for our husbands. They had numb bums after 3 hours ! A cushion or a seat with a back would be nicer for your mature clientele !!

   Its been a while since I have dined at Chaco Bar in Potts Point, but I was glad to be back. Everyone I know is talking about visiting Japan or have recently come back saying how amazing it is. Well if you cant get to Japan right now but want a taste of some amazing Japanese food and experience a great Yakitori with awesome Sake then get yourself to Chaco Bar ASAP. Food is delicious and varied, staff are great, very helpful and price wise, it is very reasonable for the quality. Great atmosphere, get a seat at the Chefs Table to be amongst the action. Highly recommended.
