Join us for afternoon tea at the Japanese American National Museum. Sharing a beautiful outdoor space with the museum, our tea room can accommodate parties of up to 20 people.

We are a Los Angeles-based tea room and online tea retailer. We've been here for 30 years, helping the people of Los Angeles discover tea. Chado Tea Room has served the Los Angeles area for over 25 years. With 4 locations, they have revolutionized the Angelino tea lover's experience. I love the quiet atmosphere and lovely patio, when warm. The service is always good and relaxing tea time. I love to bring friends as it a fun and lovely afternoon of feeling special.

I love going here. There are so many teas, but you have to ask because the menu only mentions a few. There are many bridal showers and events outside in the gorgeous patio.

Ambiance was the best part of this Chado location in Little Tokyo. Service was a bit slow as there was only one host and one server on a weekend. Tables were spaced out enough to have quiet conversation with your guest/party. Sit outside for the best atmosphere. What would have elevated the experience: a thoughtful, brief rundown of each type of tea and history of Chado.

Went on a Thursday 3pm tea and it was perfect. Food and tea is delicious!!! Beautiful outside setting and wonderful staff!! Absolutely repeat visitor.

This was our (my mother and my) 4th time at a Chado location, and probably the best one, yet! Our host, David, was attentive, detailed, and warm! Thank you so much for a beautiful day, great food, and delicious tea!
