   Honestly was really disappointed. I’d heard great things about Chandlers from colleagues who had been before and the food was very disappointing. Our service was excellent, but for the price, the steak was not cooked correctly and had almost no seasoning. The chocolate dessert lacked flavor as well. The bread seemed like it was at least a day old and warmed under a warming lamp. Overall the food was very bland and I expected much higher quality. We will not be back again.

   As ways, Chandler’s doesn’t disappoint. Food was amazing, 10 minute martini awesome, server Bodie was the best. Piano player was excellent but a bit too loud. We were seated at a dining table next to the bar area. Our favorite place in the Boise area.

   Always a treat to celebrate a special occasion (our 34th anniversary) at Chandlers with a 10-minute martini, a wonderful meal, and live music. And, we keep telling ourselves, we need to drop in some afternoon for a cocktail and appetizer.

   We had the opportunity to celebrate an early valentines dinner together, Chandlers was our choice. Always great food, good service and a comfortable booth to chat while listening to the live mood music in the background. We love having a wonderful dinner at Chandlers when we can, and this was no exception!

   The dining experience was amazing from start to finish. The menu and food are the best. The service from the staff was perfect. They work hard to make sure you are taken care of and it shows.

    This was my 3rd time to Chandler's, it’s a wonderful restaurant with delicious food. We went for my best friends birthday, the reservation process was super simple and a must. We got seated in a really neat, small room we didn’t know even existed, although a little too dark for our liking. It was a little difficult to read the menu, but we did like the coziness, as there were maybe a total of 5 tables in that room. The appetizers were really good (beet salad, escargot). We all thoroughly enjoyed our main courses (veal piccata, rack of lamb, halibut). We really liked the guy that brought us our bread and refilled our drinks, he was very attentive and on it. Our actual server (Craig) we did not care for, that was our only complaint of our entire visit. From the get go he just seemed almost cocky and didn’t want to really help us. Just a bad evening for him, perhaps, but it did knock down our experience from phenomenal to great. We were a party of 3 and automatically got charged a 20% gratuity which we thought was strange. Will we be back again, absolutely! But we will ask to not be seated in Craig’s section.
