The room lacked ambience on a dull Saturday afternoon. No music, no candles , bordering on cold. The staff are friendly but the restaurant was very quiet so would expect good service. Good fresh oysters to start. Then a huge plate of taram … why so big ? Of course to justify £10.50 …. Then another mountain of pork & Duck rillette … would have easily served 4 people … did not finish. The ceviches was good quality fins but lacked acidity , surely the whole point of ceviche ? We had to ask for lemons to give the required acidity. Then a bowl of clams & iberico… the ham was obviously from the last portion of the ham , it was as tough as shoe leather & exceptionally salty…. Pretty average sized clams except one large freak that had a broken shell & was not fully cooked due to its sheer size . We asked the waitress if we needed any sides and were told the Aubergine was a speciality of the house …. I am sure at £16:50 for 3 discs of grilled/ roasted / fried aubergine on a dollop of strained yoghurt they hope everyone orders it. Couldn’t recommend & wouldn’t go back in a hurry … shame really , but lacked any real cooking skill, obviously using good ingredients , but think that’s a given in London these days

This was our first visit to this restaurant. We loved it and look forward very much to a return visit before too long. The food, especially my sweet breads, was superb. The service was was very friendly and efficient - although the second of our puddings, the lemon curd -- took far too long time to come out -- and the room is quiet and very cosy. It reminded us of some of our favourite restaurants in France. Well done. A lovely restaurant.

Chapel Market Kitchen truly lives up to the hype—it's the place of the moment! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The decor is stylish but unpretentious, and the attention to detail is evident in every corner. The food? Absolutely sensational. FRESH. The menu is a perfect mix of innovative dishes and comforting classics, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that really shine. Each bite feels like a celebration of flavour, from their seasonal specials to the perfectly curated wine list. You can tell chef Maoz and his team truly care. Service is impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, and the staff is knowledgeable, offering great recommendations for both food and wine. Whether you're here for a casual lunch or a special dinner, you'll be treated like royalty. What really sets Chapel Market Kitchen apart, though, is the buzz—it has that rare combination of being both trendy and welcoming, a place where you feel like you’ve discovered something truly special. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience top-tier dining in a relaxed yet stylish setting. Can’t wait to return!

Delightful - we cleared every single plate. Service was spot on. Recommended quantities of tapas and mains (4 of each for 5 of us) was just right. Especially recommend scallops on specials, duck & pork rillette, peppers and Brussel sprouts. Good quantities. Thoroughly good experience.

Tucked away in the heart of Chapel Market, **Chapel Market Kitchen** is an absolute gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and welcoming staff make you feel right at home. **Food:** The menu is a masterclass in comfort food with a modern twist. Every dish we tried was a standout, but the star of the evening was the [insert dish name—e.g., *slow-cooked lamb with rosemary glaze*]. Cooked to perfection, it was bursting with flavor and paired beautifully with fresh, seasonal sides. The vegetarian options are equally impressive—creative, hearty, and full of flavor. Don't skip dessert; the [insert dessert name—e.g., *dark chocolate tart with salted caramel*] is pure indulgence. **Drinks:** The drinks menu is a delight, offering everything from craft cocktails to locally sourced wines. The [insert drink name—e.g., *signature elderflower gin fizz*] was refreshing and expertly balanced. **Service:** The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food. They went above and beyond to ensure our experience was flawless, even accommodating a last-minute dietary request with ease. **Atmosphere:** Chapel Market Kitchen strikes the perfect balance between cozy and contemporary. The open kitchen adds a touch of theater, while the tasteful decor and soft lighting create a relaxed vibe. It’s ideal for everything from date nights to gatherings with friends. **Value:** For the quality of the food and experience, the prices are more than reasonable. This is the kind of place where you feel like every penny spent is well worth it. Whether you're a foodie seeking your next favorite spot or just looking for a warm, satisfying meal, Chapel Market Kitchen is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their outstanding menu.
