   Two of us were seated near the side windows near restrooms. It was freezing! We & other diners kept our coats on during the meal. We were right @ the window & could feel the wind coming through. Our female server had the personality of a pencil. She was one of two gals working this section. We would have preferred the other gal. Not friendly & very serious, but she didn't mention we were wearing our coats through dinner or offer to turn up the heat. Food was very good per usual. We have been coming here 20 years. The Ceasar salad looked a bit sad, maybe due to the season? Not very green & loaded in dressing. Otherwise tasted OK. Not bitter. So as we sit freezing in the back, all the large parties of 6,8 10 are seated right by the front door. They are all packed near the entrance & I am thinking. In the event of a fire, we are jumping out this window because there is no way to get out the entrance. Totally clogged. I should have taken a pic & gotten the waitresses name. After all the years of coming here & the fantastic food we have enjoyed. We were a bit disappointed with this experience. We will be back after the memory of this specific experience wanes. I would suggest putting your large parties in the back & do the 2fer tables near the entrance. This way people can keep themselves warm with all the body heat around the table near the drafty windows. On a positive note. Crabcakes off the hook! I had been thinking about them all week & did not disappoint. Perfectly charred & just enough sauce to compliment the dish. Always love the jambalaya & large enough portion to let it marinate for even better leftovers next day.

   My 5 year old wanted to dine somewhere "fancy" for her birthday and I wanted seafood. So I decided on this establishment to make us both happy. What a surprise to see when I arrived 30mins early and my table was ready and decored for the occasion. The place was packed too. The server was so attentive and indulged my 5 year old with her requests. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Will more than likely return for a date night.

   The whole experience at Chardonnay was perfect. The service was great, and the food was wonderful. Loved everything about this evening. We met friends that we have not seen in quite some time so to enjoy such a great night, this was perfect. Recommend this restaurant any time. Thank you

   My meal the Chicken francaise was very good tasty and plentiful. My wife's meal the pizza Rustico was very bland the chef needs to learn to make it flavorful. We did not care for the 3% credit card usage fee we will not be back. The hostess was a very good hostess seated us in a great table. Our waitress was absent after we got our meals it was like she was trying to rush us to order. Then we got our meals we did not see her until the meal was finished she came over with the bill before asking how things were. She took my wife's pizza and boxed it up for her. I had a glass of wine it was very good Cabernet Sauvignon. We only go here twice a year for date night this was very disappointing!
