It was very very busy on a Friday night. Place was packed but the service and food was still excellent.

Food was great and had a great night. Service was lacking and had to track down waitress several times which never happens.

We often go to this restaurant because the food is good at a reasonable price (big serving); usually the service is good. We came at (8 of us) at 11am today; at first the server was there all the time. After serving our meal, we couldn't find her anymore. I had to stop eating because I got so thirsty and I wanted my coffee to be refilled (she didn't give us water at first either). She didn't even ask us we want ketsup for our fries. I had to stand up and go to find another waitress to tell her what we want, but she came back to us after that. Maybe she was just busy attending other customers, but I was quite disappointed with the service. I took some people here from Scarborough for the first time and I was quite proud to bring them there. Other than that, everything was fine.

The restaurant was super busy but the food came out in great time, service was great as well. Restrooms were clean. Food was hot and delicious! Love the atmosphere of this place - I’ll always be a returning customer here!

I have been to Charley Ronick’s a few times and Portly in Ajax is our go to. We were there to celebrate my son’s 19th birthday. Party of 10, this time the food was lacking freshness and flavour. The burgers had no salt or pepper sprinkled, pasta had no flavour, ordered soup, salad and bruchetta for soup mainly. It was extremely starchy. My mother didn’t even touch it. Irish nachos were stale. It was the first time I had not so good experience

There were 11 of us. First time here. Everyone said their meal was delicious. All said they would be back. Our waitress was great.

Their menu is almost the same as Frosty Johns in Bowmanville. Great wings and other favourites were just as tasty at Charley Ronicks as they were in Bowmanville. Service was awesome, our server was so patient and accommodating. Will definitely go again.

Food was not up to its usual standard. Several dishes were not enjoyable. Very disappointed. Bill was incorrect.
