   First - we received a discount from our hotel to eat at the restaurant and we don’t eat meat but there were several fish dishes on the menu which we thought would be good alternatives. The snapper was grilled but way overcooked and had zero flavor - the cheese mashed potatoes was enough for 4 people and had no seasoning (salt etc) so very bland. It’s a place with huge portions but no real cooking expertise. If you like a 2-3 lb steak it might be a good place to go to but it’s very expensive for food that really isn’t worth the money.

   this is a reliably excellent restaurant. Food is great, services great it’s no wonder they’ve been a business for a long time and continue to be successful.

   My friends and I went to Charley's for Friendmas Dinner. Angel was our service and he was top notch!!! Explained everything well. Double checked our orders to ensure we got what we wanted. Desmond was also a gem!!! Best host. Checked on us twice during dinner. Definitely will be returning soon.

   One of the worst dining experiences of my life. Where to begin…not having our water refilled, waiting 20 minutes for salt & pepper for the salad with absolutely no flavor, maybe the extremely dry filet mignon, or the offer to make it right with a free dessert that a diabetic doesn’t want. How about suggesting a 30% tip on the tablet? Just rude when I only saw my waiter when I ordered (everything dropped by food runners that didn’t acknowledge our needs). We have eaten at Charley’s in Tampa for over 20 years. We were regulars to Johnny’s hideaway when in the Orlando area and it disappointed us when it closed so we decided to give Charley’s Orlando a try. 2 people $300 to receive sub par food and terrible service. I would have rather gone to Applebees and saved $250. In addition to not having our water refilled, our empty cocktails were on the table but no one asked if we wanted another cocktail, soda, coffee or tea. So nothing to drink but 4 empty glasses on the table…cool never had that happened at any restaurant before let alone one at this price point. We will now never visit Charley’s again because this experience which left such a bad taste in our mouths beyond the food’s bad taste. Gone are the days of salt & pepper on the table but proper service would have those ready when food is brought to a guest. Our ordered sauces did not arrive with our steaks so we then had to track someone down to bring those (and asked for water but didn’t get that). I could tell immediately that my medium steak was dry when I cut into it. I tried a small bite, my husband confirmed it was also the driest & worst steak he had ever had so it wasn’t just me. I’ve never sent a dish back before. The restroom! Dirty, disgusting, clogged toilets and over flowing trash can in the women’s room. Men’s room was similar condition and lacked napkins to dry hands. It continued to confirm why we will not be going back.

   Another perfect evening. Fantastic service from Dia and absolutely delicious food. We had the fabulous watermelon celebration cocktail to drink and it was so yummy with frozen chunks of watermelon. We had porterhouse steaks for main entrees. Not only were the steaks huge, but they were seasoned perfectly through every single bite and oh so tender. They literally have some of the best food I’ve ever had in life and I will keep returning. Perfect combination of service, ambience and marvelous food

   Both the food and service was exceptional. Second time I have eaten here when in Orlando. Our server, Earleen, was phenomenal. Fun and super engaging.

    As usual we had a fantastic experience. Erleen is awesome, as are the rest of the staff, and she made us feel special while we celebrated. Also the food was wonderful! Perfectly cooked and seasoned steaks and the drinks, sides and desserts were mouthwatering.
