Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 1000 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe.     Service is good, but not outstanding. An automatic gratuity charge of 21% for parties of 5 or more is a bit distasteful. Additionally, they have a corporate policy of not splitting checks. For the amount being tipped, splitting the check should be done by the server. However, they will accept multiple payments if you tell them how much to charge on each card, you just have to do the math to figure it out. This policy is very tacky for this type of restaurant. The food was good. However, the side selection is expensive and has a very limited selection. There are so many fine dining options in the area, I would probably consider another option before returning.

    I have not eaten at Charley's in about 3 years and I live near Berns and the Value for Berns with sou, salad and potato included is a Mac better deal. This being said last night was amazing my steak was outstanding was al of my sides. The service was fantastic. I would say $50 for corkage fee is pretty high!

    One of the most outstanding restaurants I’ve been to. The food, service, and ambiance was stellar. Our server Adonis was fabulous. He was super friendly, entertaining, and knowledgeable about the food and the restaurant. We will definitely be back and we would love to have Adonis as our server again.

    We have been coming there for 20 years a few times a month. We absolutely love the vibes and the bar staff. We cannot wait to see the new location.

    I started my dinner with the watermelon martini, which was delicious. Both my husband had the wagyu filet. I have to say it was the best steak I have ever had. It was simply seasoned and was soooo tender. We also had the lobster mac and cheese, which didn't have a lot of lobster in it but really if they just served the mac and cheese without the lobster, it was well worth it. We had 2 waiters serving us and the service was excellent. They were both so cheerful and knowledgable about the steaks and very attentive to our table. Although the prices are expensive, it is a great place to go for a celebration dinner.
