   Our kids love the experience! The staff was very attentive. The food was good. The kids loved the takeaway at the end. We highly recommend!

   Can I just say I never write reviews but honestly this experience HAS TO BE SPOKEN ABOUT! Firstly I’d like to thank Pio & Muhammad for their OUTSTANDING service, both the guys made us feel so incredibly special, were super attentive and HAPPY! It was so nice to see. Both of them need a raise because they genuinely made this experience ten times better. We went mid week and it was a lot quieter which we loved and were offered a booth by the wonderful lady at the beginning and even at the end she offered us both a lollipop as we declined the mulled wine / hot chocolate because we were so full of tea 😂 The sandwiches were incredible, I was really surprised at the vegan options being so delicious - that mushroom sarni was INSANE. The atmosphere was great. We were very happy that it wasn’t too busy and loud. It was mums birthday and she got a special cake and Pio sang happy birthday with me so I wasn’t alone which was adorable! He was a very gentle soul. We had the best time and thoroughly recommend anyone to go! It is quite expensive but honestly the service made up for that entirely - you pay for what you get. I will be coming back!

   This was not value for money! A very disappointing experience, it lacked the wow factor and there was very little of the Charlie and the Chocolate factory theme. The drink choices were also disappointing with only tea as an option and no one explained if you could have coffee or cold drinks as an alternative. I booked this 2 months ago and the advertised price was £70pp, when we received the bill it has gone up to £95pp but I received no notification of the price increase before I attended and then they add 15% service charge, which ok is discretionary but it was still a shock when I received the bill. Not sure why it costs so much??? I’ve had better afternoon tea for a fraction of the price.

   From the moment you arrive you are made to feel so special, the service was exceptional and the food was incredible. The detail of the Charlie & the chocolate factory theme was excellent. Rajan was our server and he ensured we had the best experience but everyone was there to make sure we enjoyed our time there.

   Second time visiting One Aldwych for the Afternoon Tea - and wasn’t disappointed. The food was fantastic as was the service. Pricey but worth it for a very special occasion.

   We decided to treat our 5 & 7 year old to their first tea experience and ended up leaving wondering, “was that it?” We were told that we’d learn all about Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, and ended up only learning that the cotton candy was bubblegum flavored. We had about five different servers (which all seemed to be getting trained) that were not very attentive and we simply didn’t know what was happening throughout our time there which made the experience not feel like a tea at all. For the price we paid, I do not recommend.

    Was a lovely experience good and service was amazing the only down side was the fact that they charge you £7 for a bottle of water that you didn’t ask for.
