We booked a table which was confirmed but when we got there the restaurant was closed due to flooding. I know these things happen but what would have been useful is to tell the booked customers that their table would not be available asap. This way we won't be going door to door to nearby places to see if they can accommodate a party of 5 on a Friday night in December...

The restaurant is currently closed so opentable should never have allowed this booking to go ahead - we turned up and the restaurant was shut due to a flood..... I have been to the restaurant before though and it was great - I am really annoyed with opentable though....

We made a reservation and turned up to find a note on the window to say there had been flooding and the restaurant was closed as a result. Very sad that this happened as know how stressful this can be but am wondering why customers who had booked weren’t alerted.

Charlottes W5 used to be one of our favourite places to eat and to entertain friends but recently things seem to have gone a bit wrong here. When we arrived we were told that most of the fresh fish dishes were not available because the supplier had not delivered - possibly a worrying sign?The sweet potato gnocchi were not good, the other mains were ok. The service however was very patchy and not up to standard for the prices they charge, in my opinion. it wasn't busy but we had to attract attention to order and ask for the drinks menu twice. Chips were forgotten, coffee was forgotten, the staff looked harassed. On the plus side, the starters arrived promptly and were good (although for some reason the Caesar salad was not available? Odd) and the waitress offered a free pudding in exchange for one plate of uneaten gnocchi. We may return ourselves but regrettably I don't think we'll be taking the chance of inviting friends there again.

Underwhelming for the price. Lovely setting but staff are overstretched and the food is overpriced.

Quiet Tuesday night. Given a dark table in corner made darker still when lights were over dimmed. Difficult to read menu. Service VERY patchy - spent a lot of time trying to attract attention whilst bar team studiously avoided eye contact and tapped away at phones. GRRR. Food pretty good, pricing ok. If they pick up the service levels could be a cracking place.

Fantastic value lunch menu. Food, wine and atmosphere that you expect from a ££££ restaurant, with a bill that you could easily run up in Pizza Hut. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Rather too much raw onion with octopus starter but Manager appreciated the feedback as this was a new dish. Slightly too much butter in my risotto but otherwise excellent. Great evening overall. Outside area looked very welcoming too.

Made reservation. Gave credit card. Travelled hour across London. We walk in and they said we are closing early. Disappointing.
