   We love celebrating both of our birthdays for a special meal when we are here in town. The food and ambiance and service is tops.

   Really some serious problems in the kitchen, but honestly, the manager and our weight staff were professional and on top of it! Very surprised that they don't have an actual real chef in the kitchen that knows how to cook steak or shrimp. $47 fillet overcooked re-ordered undercooked. Had to get them to cook it again still undercooked. The steak medallions were all gristle and fat. Really inappropriate for a High end restaurant Had to order something else, and it was overcooked shrimp I don't know what's going on with you guys, but I hope you can get it together The wait time on food being cooked was ridiculous! Once again, I just wanna reiterate that the staff and the manager were professional and on top of it the kitchen has serious problems and I hope that you can address it

   Our party of 6 with 2 babies was impressed by the comfort and level of service we received. The bread was fresh and warm, and there was ample butter on the table for our large group. We were especially impressed by the brown bread and the flatbread in our basket. Our server gladly brought us more when asked--bonus!! Everyone enjoyed their meals. The grouper and mango rice was to die for. Seafood stew ample and yummy, steaks cooked perfectly, pasta and shrimp devoured. Creme brulee and chocolate lava cake also impressed us. Chart House is a definite go-to when in Melbourne, especially if it's still light out. Ask for a table by the windows, and you will get a show of pelicans fishing for dinner, windsurfers and quite possibly a dolphin show.

   Excellent food. The view was awesome and the bartender was fun, professional and great service. I think his name was Damien.

   Fantastic dinner for Mom's 90th birthday. I wish I could remember our waiter's name and give him the credit he deserves for helping to make the evening extra special. Credit to whoever thought to put happy 90th birthday on the menus as well. Never been to Chart House before, but the food and drinks were superb and we will definitely be back.

    Our party of two was unfortunately seated in the back room with a large and extremely noisy group celebrating an occasion. There was one other table of 3 in this room, who appeared equally irritated by the noise as did the waitstaff. It seems that with better planning this room could have and should have been designed as a closed off party room. The food was great as was the service but the constant noise did mar our experience.
