   We were seated downstairs where there was hardly anyone. It was nice. Quiet and easy to hear the conversation.

   Food was good but not excellent… even though less crowded than Thanksgiving, the kitchen seemed a bit overwhelmed. Staff was excellent

   I realize it was a very evening, but you should have adjusted for that. The food, as usual, was very good. Our service was a lacking for price we paid and bit below the standards I expected. Just little things such as improper silverware, serving bread with no knife to spread butter, nor a plate to place bread. Someone just dropped by table and (politely) placed our next course on the table. Also, we ordered a nice bottle of wine. Our waiter delivered the wine, and we never saw him again till it was time to pay the bill. Again, you were very busy, and we will come back again.

   This was the first time anyone in our party of 6 had eaten at this Chart House. We were there on NYE and even though the restaurant was incredibly busy, our table was ready on time, our waitress was amazing and the food was delicious all the way around. Our party ranged in age from 14 to 58 and everyone enjoyed the dinner. As for apps, the crab cake were our favorite. For dinner, the lobster tails were cooked perfectly and the meat eaters said the filet was some of the best meat they had had in awhile. We will all be back!

   Chart House is/has/and remains Portland iconic albeit part of the Landry chain. Great everything coupled with fantastic view - awesome.

   Excellent service and meal tonight! Jolene was kind, attentive and caring on a busy night…place was filled. We were so glad we booked a reservation way in advance.

   Service was slow, food was ... okay. Prices were high. Overall I'd say the valet parkers were the best feature of this restaurant.

   Everything about this visit was average at best. Most disappointing was the food. A variety of items was ordered. The coconut shrimp appetizer had an odd flavor and the calamari was extremely greasy. The CH prime rib was quite tough and hard to cut and the meal was not hot. Twp blackened salmon plates were os small portions and had very little seasoning on them. Two other fish plates were lacking flavor like the fish was not fresh. All in all not what I expected from the Chart House.

   Overall the experience were great. The only thing was the waiting for our table. We got the reservation at 7:30 pm but got there early and we got a text saying out table was ready at 6:55 pm. We were told it will be a minute or so but did not get our table close to our reservation time. I know it was busy around Christmas time but don't send a text saying the table was ready and then made us wait for another 30 minutes. My wife and kids wanted to leave but I told them they were busy around this time, so we decided to stay. What made it GREAT was out service person!

    It’s our special occasion restaurant and never disappoints. Great service, fabulous food and generous spacing between tables so your conversations are private. Attentive staff and always a 5 star experience!
