   We were disappointed in the bartenders, who wouldn’t serve anyone who wasn’t actually sitting at the bar. We had a dinner reservation for 8:30, and we got there about 15 minutes early. The hostess told us we would be seated close to our reservation time, so we went to the bar to get a drink. All seats were occupied, which is fine, but myself and another woman stood and waited for someone to ask us for our order. Both bartenders saw us, and ignored us. It was until a couple left that I was able to sit for a second and order our drinks (I ordered for the woman to try and speed things up). Dinner was great, although a waitress told us she’d be back to get our order and then never returned. Luckily, the GM was able to fix that and get a waitress for us (and she was wonderful).

   It was disappointing to have a 6:30 reservation and to not have been sat until 6:55. I understand that things happen, but when the service was as slow as it was we quickly understood how it happened. However, our server Josh was very energetic and kind, super personable, clearly proud of the food, which was absolutely delicious. He was clearly stretched thin with the number of tables they’d given him to make up for volume. Sometimes you just have to wait for the good stuff, so a wait is something I can get over!

   Honestly disappointed by our experience today. They were running seriously behind, even though we had made reservations. We had 6 different “servers” throughout the night with very intermittent service & long wait times. It was a lot of money for a mediocre pre-fixed menu & chaotic experience. Our Christmas dinner choices were between CH and red lobster; I think we made the wrong choice.

   Our waitress Christiana was very pleasant and professional. Our food was served hot and spaced nicely between appetizers and desserts. The food was delicious and the filet steak was cooked to our delight. I highly recommend the Chart House.

   The service was excellent. We opted for prime rib and were not disappointed. Chart House lived up to previous ratings.

   WE HAVE BEEN COMING TO THE CHART HOUSE FOR MANY YEARS, BOTH IN THIS LOCATION IN SAVANNAH AND IN OTHERS AROUND THE COUNTRY SUCH AS BOSTON, ANNAPOLIS AND WEEHAWKEN. TODAY'S MEAL WAS SPECIAL BECAUSE OF THE HOLIDAY AND THE QUALITY AND VALUE. WE CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK.

   Food and servers where fine, but got stuck in the bar area despite having a reservation. Area was not that nice, drafty with the door, and it felt like we were an afterthought as most of the attention was on the main portion of the restaurant.

    We had reservation at 8:30pm and did not get seated until 9pm, then we did not get our food until 10pm. The food was not great and definitely not worth the cost. My daughter’s salmon was raw and pasta was not cooked long enough (crunchy). My salad was browning. The only thing good was the coconut shrimp appetizer and the New England Clam chowder. The server was amazing but food and wait was terrible.
