We had a great NYE experience. I had the scallops and the rest of my family had tenderloin. Our waiter, Chase was so nice. It was our first time to the restaurant but we will be back.

May have been one of the worst steakhouses I’ve ever gone to. Nick, our server, was excellent and very attentive. But through no fault of his own, the food was terrible. My daughter wouldn’t even finish the grilled cheese sandwich she ordered from the kids menu. The cauliflower steak I had was not cooked correctly, the mashed potatoes with my other daughter’s meal were very sweet with a bad aftertaste and the dessert was even undercooked. Would NOT recommend this place. What made it worse is that all of this cost more than most any other meal I’ve had at a steakhouse because there was a $150/pp minimum for New Year’s.

Wait time was long for orders. Husband’s steak was over-cooked after taking chef’s recommendation on what to temperature his steak was to be cooked. Asked for mid-rare, recommendation was medium, came out well done.

My family and I had a wonderful dinner at the Steakhouse. We shared the Duck Confit appetizer, highly recommend, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the French Onion Soup prior to entrees. The beef and lamb items on the menu are local to Colorado and they are sourced from a family-owned ranch in the northern part of the state. I had the Alaskan Salmon dish; the tomato chimichurri was mind blowing. The Chef even stopped by our table, so cool! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu items and provided prompt service. We sat at a table in the bar area and enjoyed the ambiance of the space. We will be back!

Our server, Walker, was very nice and attentive. We had the mussels, strip steak and lamb chops and all were outstanding in both flavor and presentation. With friendly staff, an inviting atmosphere and fantastic food, we will be sure to return!

This is not an indictment of the service staff, the chefs, nor anyone other than whomever led the team last night, but the experience on December 25, 2024, for a table of four, was unacceptable. Blaming it on a “table of 14,” isn’t an excuse; you knew they were arriving and simply didn’t ready the restaurant. You had to have know exactly what the night was going to bring and you weren’t ready. Incredibly slow wait times for food were experienced, it seemed, by all who ate - including a table next to us that waited an hour and a half for their meals. And not equipping your staff to comp a drink or a dessert is such an egregious display of a lack of skill in running a restaurant. How a simple gesture could’ve bought your team some grace from customers was missed is beyond measure. People are paying top dollar for your food and have expectations that, currently, your management isn’t prepared to meet.

While our team strives to provide exceptional service, it’s clear we fell short. We regret that steps like offering a gesture of goodwill weren’t taken to ease your evening. Your concerns are being addressed with our management to ensure we better meet expectations moving forward. We hope to restore your trust on a future visit.

Delicious food, wonderful service and great value for money. We had Christmas dinner and it was great that we could choose from Ala Carte and also given the holiday menu option. The staff were lovely, attentive and professional and the food high quality and delicious. Definitely recommend.

Walmart Steakhouse: A Comedy of Errors and Grizzle Oh, where to begin with this comedic tragedy disguised as a steakhouse? Let’s call it what it truly is: the Walmart of fine dining. My 12 oz. New York strip steak—if you can even call it that—was half gristle and all disappointment. Thin, sad, and as another brave reviewer aptly noted, seemingly plucked from Walmart’s freezer section. Bravo for consistency there! But wait, it gets better—or worse, depending on your sense of humor. The “Caesar” salad (with tomatoes, for some inexplicable reason) arrived at the speed of light, clearly pre-made and looking as though it had spent some quality time in the back of a refrigerator. It was about as enjoyable as eating a soggy Post-it note. Let’s talk about the $250 whirlwind dinner experience. Yes, $250... devoured (or rather, endured) in just 42 minutes. Imagine paying for a Broadway play and getting a kindergarten recital—short, rushed, and utterly underwhelming. And the dessert! Oh, the dessert. By 5:15 PM, the restaurant was apparently “sold out” of most options, leaving us with what can only be described as a pie doppelgänger fresh off the Walmart bakery shelf. A fitting finale to this culinary comedy. The drinks? Let’s just say the bar selection was so dismal it made my college dorm stash look like a 5-star mixology haven. But the server was relentless, determined to sell us as many drinks as humanly possible. “How about a Wagyu steak?” they asked. “No, thank you,” we replied. Twice. Then, for good measure, they asked a third time. If you enjoy the idea of spending a small fortune for a night of culinary mediocrity wrapped in high-dollar hype, by all means, this is your place. For everyone else? Do yourself a favor and steer clear. Believe the bad reviews—they’re not exaggerating. Consider this my first and, hopefully, last bad review. It’s truly warranted. If nothing else, I hope this saves someone else from enduring this steakhouse satire. You’re welcome.

Charter Steakhouse delivered an exceptional dining experience! I ordered the Wagyu steak, and let me tell you, it was the best Wagyu steak I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. My son had the chicken and nearly licked his plate clean, which says a lot coming from him! My friend ordered the NY Strip and couldn’t stop raving about how flavorful and satisfying it was. Her daughter opted for the Caesar salad and devoured every bite. We ordered the cheesecake and red velvet cake for dessert and - WOW. I mean, every bite of everything we had was delicious. OH - and the Sishito peppers appetizer - SO good. One of the highlights of the evening was when the chef came out to say hello. He was so friendly and genuine—it’s clear he takes pride in his craft. The staff was attentive, professional, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and elegant, and makes you want to linger a little longer. I also love that all the meat is locally sourced—it’s a fantastic touch that makes this place stand out even more. Charter Steakhouse is a true gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I’ll definitely be back!
