   Our server was really great, checking in with us and not only that. One of our party had allergies, and he took it upon himself to take a copy of the menu to the chef. The chef then circled the items that were safe for our friend to eat. Over and above!

   We went on Valentines. The food was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Deviled eggs, New York steak, lobster pasta were all wonderful. Tasty espresso martini. There was a 20% charge due to the holiday. We will be back.

   The service was a little strange with the server and bussers. The server was annoying by coming by too often repeatedly asking, “everything okay?” and was just strange in the way he waited on the table. The bussers were literally hovering at times to remove plates. Exp he looks that I am not done and walks by the table, then sees me take a last bite, then turns around and takes my plate. My partner had gone to the restroom and I was asked if he had finished his entre. Seriously? Half the steak was still on the plate and mashed potatoes were still in the bowl. Not good. The host on the other hand, was great and I remember her from last time. Great vibe and very friendly

   A friend and I celebrated Galantine's Day at Chateau last evening. We wanted to meet, catch up, share stories and family pictures. The table we sat at was very small and in a hallway next to the main room of the restaurant. I'm glad we were there because the noise level was very high and the dining space is small, so our tiny, intimate table worked well. The food we had was really good - we shared The Crispy Roasted Brussels Sprouts featuring small hunks of perfectly cooked bacon accompanied by a lovely sauce complimented the Truffle Grill Cheese small bites sandwich deliciously. I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and was a bit put off by the $19 per glass price point. All said, it was a nice experience and I would go back to Chateau to sample more of the delicious small plates.

   I was excited about this restaurant because, from an Instagram video, looks amazing. But it was very loud, hard to talk. The menu is limited and the portions are very small for the price. Although the service was very good.

   We had an absolutely wonderful first time experience at Chateau. The service was 10 star! The food was amazing. And the ambiance was lovely. I will definitely return to try their lunch & dinner menu with friends!

   Didn’t skip a beat. We ordered a bunch of different things to try and everyone shared and everything we got was very delicious. A great new addition to Walnut Creek.

    Mussels were awful. Probably the worst I’ve ever had. Broth was oily , heavy & flavorless. Service wasn’t horrible but wasn’t good either . Place is so cute but will not be returning
