Chateau-X has quite the story, born out of lockdown, we took a luxurious chateaubriand experience to homes across the UK.

Growing our offering throughout lockdown saw demand for us to increase so much, we knew we couldn't stop when life resumed to the 'new normal'.

That brings us to today, Chateau-X in Finnieston, our first official restaurant, home to our luxurious Chateaubriand experience, for a reasonable price. Not skipping out on quality either as you might know already, we're vocal about being local.

Our mission is simple - bring top quality British sourced meat and produce to our community, with a bit of banter on the side. So, what are you waiting for?

After reading reviews was keen to try but maybe I just had a bad meal. I had asked for sirloin to be cooked medium but it looked like it had been in the pan for 30 seconds. Sorry but my food was not good

Great service good food . Music did not match the rime of day ( Sunday 3pm ,) sounded like a wine bar in Ibiza .. I would have liked quieter more relaxed music in keeping with the surroundingss .

Food was excellent! We were sat downstairs which was a bit more intimate than upstairs. Service very speedy and excellent. Although when booking it says table is for 1.5 hours, when seated we were told it would only be for an hour, now don't get me wrong food was out very quick and still was better than other steak places, but had we had a starter, would we have been kicked out? We only just finished mains and a desert within the hour🤷‍♀️ this should have been stated at time of booking. But also an hour doesn't really seem enough if you want to relax and take your time on your 3 courses. All the servers were excellent and could not fault anything else.

First time visitors after my son had got us a voucher for our 25th anniversary. Wow - all of the food was lovely, from the prawns and focaccia as apetisers through to the chateaubriand which was fantastic. The services from the two young ladies that looked after us was superb. Only thing I would say is 90mins is just a little short for table time - 2hrs would be more appropriate to let you relax and settle your food - but I will be back in a heartbeat. Nice ambience, outstanding food and great service.

Would not recommend, the steak was absolutely tiny, and the drinks were very expensive and they rush you out the door, we went before going to hydro, definitely wouldn’t return!!

Food was lovely and service was prompt, the staff member who served us for the evening was lovely and attentive!!

This is just the nicest most relaxing restaurant in Glasgow!! The waiters are so knowledgeable and friendly, and the food … if you don’t try this wee part of paradise then let me tell you, YOU ARE MISSING OUT!!!

Sunday roast was exceptional. 4 of us out for a bite and some drinks - all were delighted with the quality of the food and the cracking service. We’ll be booking again.
