Che Fico, is a California Italian restaurant from Chefs David Nayfeld and Matt Brewer in San Francisco's NOPA neighborhood. The food focuses on Italian cuisine through the lens of California. It’s our vision of Northern California as if it is a region in Italy, our connection to the region, and our love for Italian culinary practices. The rustic, market-driven menu features handmade pasta, pizzas, antipasti, housemade salumi, meat, and fish plus dishes from the Jewish-Roman heritage known as “Cucina Ebraica.” The beverage program focuses heavily on both Italian and Californian wines with a cocktail program that utilizes a variety of spirits, amaros, and seasonal ingredients. Che Fico is a place to gather with friends and enjoy warm hospitality, food, and drink, through an approachable menu and convivial ambiance.

We are excited to welcome: Andrew Carmellini - Chef Carmellini has been the recipient of multiple James Beard Awards as well as Michelin stars, he has been pushing the boundaries of the culinary scene all over the globe. We invite you to join us for this unforgettable evening of exceptional food, wine, and warm hospitality. Four course meal: $175 /pp and optional wine pairing at $85 /pp. Cancellation Policy: Guest must notify Che Fico of cancellation 48 hours before event time or guest will be charged full amount menu price plus fees.

Wonderful service from our server . Delicious food . Only disappointing dishes were the lemon crab pasta which didn’t work & the carrot salad . So many other dishes so skip those . Ambiance & decor great,

Lovely ambiance with tall ceilings and plants. Service was attentive and friendly. My Dad who has tinnitus didn’t have a problem hearing the conversation or server. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal, I got the egg over polenta dish and thought it was really creative and tasty. Husband said breakfast sandwich was one of the top he has had in SF.

It was ridicoulous how much cheese they put on everything, even the salad only tasted of cheese. Had high expectation cause the place is nice and reviews seemed very good so maybe an off day but wow 2 days later i still have the taste of cheese in my mouth

Andy, our waiter was absolutely excellent, kind, friendly and warm. Hostess was also wonderful. The food and wine were marvelous! I was so thrilled to experience Andy’s thoughtfulness. It’s nice to see new staff with a true sense of hospitality.

We had a fun brunch with our group of 6. It wasn't too crowded but felt like a fun lively ambience. Food was very good. We shared the brioche and French toast for a starter and they were a total treat! We loved the poached egg on latke and English muffin sandwich. The polenta breakfast item wasn't my fav.
