Cheeves Bros. Steak House in Temple, Texas is an upscale restaurant that has a menu full of USDA Prime steaks and a wine cellar so well-stocked it's won awards in the past. There is even an in-house florist at Cheeves Bros. Steak House, which makes it the perfect location for a romantic evening with your special someone. Just be sure you bring your appetite. Cheeves Bros. Steak House doesn't do small portions. One look at the prime NY sirloin strip should make that clear. The butter rum scallops and bacon wrapped scallops are both delicious options, too. If you like surf and turf, you can't beat the crab cake tenderloin.

    We had an excellent three-course Valentine's meal for two at Cheeves Bros. Steak House. Every course was very tasty, of excellent quality. The service was excellent, though not intrusive. The only thing to bear in mind is that the prices are higher than an average restaurant, but they're well-deserved.

    We thought the food was good, but no where at the level expected for the price. Our server was friendly and attentive, but we felt rushed through our meal. Overall this is a very nice restaurant, with a very professional staff. But we think they should slow down a bit and improve the flavors to stand out amongst restaurants with better value. I think it's worth a visit, to see what you think.

    The four course meal only option was not good. Wasn’t able to get the appetizer we like the most. Everything but the steak seemed prepared. Food want very good. Crème brûlée was terrible. Usually give it a 10 but today was not good.

    We have enjoyed going to Cheeves Brothers Steakhouse for years. They never disappoint. Try them, it will be one of the best dining experiences you will ever have.

    The quality for the price was not there. Shareable sides were very small and very greasy. The main entrees were missing flavor and skimpy on the additional components of the dish.Service was slow and the waitress kept disappearing. Not a good Valentines dinner.

    We were there for Valentines Day so we knew it would be busy. There was nothing glaringly wrong, except for how long we waited for our food, but we were ok with our salads and bread while we waited. The food was good, but I would not say it was special enough for what we paid ($380) and thats without any alcohol on our ticket. Our server was very nice, albeit stretched thin and trying to service too many tables for one person. We would go back, just not on a holiday as it was noisy at an uncomfortable decibel level.

    I had the red fish which I didn’t care for not their fault mine I should’ve ordered a steak, but everything else was good and the service was excellent and the place is just beautiful

    The food was delicious, but this steak house is high end so very expensive. We knew going in it would be expensive. You do not get food that delicious without paying for it. We were celebrating our 30-year anniversary, and we wanted something out of the ordinary and that is exactly what we got. Everything was to our liking except it took a long time to get our food. Other than that, I still give my experience 5 stars.

    My wife and I decided to go here for our 37th anniversary. This place, food, service, beverage and atmosphere rival any high end restaurant in Austin, Houston or Dallas. Our server Dede was fantastic as well. Great energy and attitude. The serviing sizes perfect and I take my hat off to the chef. Great job all around. I’ll be back soon MB
