Jon was wonderful and very hospitable. The food was stunning and each course explained by Jon himself. A bit on the spicy side- so be aware, but high end food at a reasonable price.

I’m fairly new to supper clubs and when this one popped up I thought it might be quite interesting to try. And boy was I right, brought a friend a long for the ride and we both had a really great time. As you get to the King's Head it almost looks like there isn’t anything there, but then you find a doorbell and bam the door opens up and all of a sudden you're transported to a speakeasy underground type bar, greeted by the charming Jonathan (not the same Jonathan who runs the supper clubs), showing you to your table. Dark lighting and really atmospheric space. Then Jonathan, running the supper club, came out to have a chat and we began the feast. Jonathan thank you so much you're a mastermind, every single of the 6 courses was insane. It was a truly perfect mix of middle eastern, Asian cuisines and Mediterranean. It just blew my mouth away. You have to try it to believe it. I left the supper club with a stuffed but a happy belly. We were also seated with a super lovely couple, had really great conversations and we found out so many recommendations of things to do in London.. Aaand the coolest part was having a walk around the building, post our outrageously good meal. Basically this venue, the King's Head, is a private members club, with many different floors, long creaky staircases and rooms and nooks and crannies full of curiosities and 'prohibition era-themed' art. It was like taking a walk at the Horniman Museum or even channeling a bit of Viktor Wynd museum, very swanky and cooky. Again it was like we travelled back in time to the early 20th century. We had such a great time we stayed after the supper club for a few drinks and chatted with the manager of the venue Jonathan. He said a lot of the art was bought from auctions, with some famous pieces as well. This is truly a hidden little place in London, you must come visit and try Jonathan's fare. Supper clubs should not be slept on if you want a truly unique experience in London!

This was not what we expected or paid for at all. Unfortunately the booking did not reflect the experience in the following ways - the meal was advertised as a tasting menu, however the experience was a Supper Club, therefor we were forced to eat with 6 other people. Aside from the fact that this was a special occasion and intended to be an intimate experience, this is also completely irresponsible in Covid times and gave us zero alternative options and no ability to request a full refund since the meal was prepaid - the Supper Club style meal meant we had to wait for everyone at the table to arrive meaning our meal started 1 hour later than the booking and then we ate at the pace of the whole table. Unfortunately we had to leave mid meal because we needed to be home by 9PM (2.5 hours after our 630 PM) booking so we didn’t even get to enjoy the full experience that we paid for - the address was incorrect on the OpenTable booking - the food was fine but in no way reflected the photos on the Open Table advertisement and therefor did not meet expectations

Heya! We sincerely apologise, we now have tried to make it clearer to future customers that this is a social dining experience. We have passed this information to the chef to avoid delays due to latecomers, we're very sorry. Jon had just moved locations, the address is up to date now! Jon has a seasonal menu, hence the delays with uploading new pictures. The menu will always be up to date. Please get in contact with us so we can sort out a discount and change your mind about social dining!
