    Really enjoyed our first experience at Chef Luis. Food was delicious, great atmosphere, could actually talk and hear each other over dinner. Lamb lollipops were tender and delicious. Sesame crusted tuna was perfectly prepared and very tasty. Needed a tad more seasoning IMO. My husband had the pasta vongole which he said was a bit garlicky but really tasty. Our friend said the chicken was very tender and tasty. Just a nice vibe. We will be back and will highly recommend to friends.

    So nice to dine in a restaurant with a vibrant bar scene yet a quiet dining room, where you can engage in conversation. Service was outstanding as was the food.

    This place used to be a good value. The bread was fresh, the main course portions were generous, the corkage fee was $25, and the desserts superb. This time, the bread was stale, did not taste that good, the main course portions were just ok, the corkage fee was $32. The tres leches dessert was great and the churros were delicious but they shrank in size to be tiny. The place was quite loud and busy. It is still good but not as great as it used to be since my last visit.

    Staff was really friendly and service was excellent. The Deutsch Linguine Vongole continues to be an all time favorite!! wonderfully prepared and plenty of whole clams! The Karl’s Crusted Seared Tuna was prepared as requested, medium rate, just the way we like it! We started with sharing of the Bonnie and Sheila salad. It was delightfully divided by the kitchen on two plates! We enjoyed the mixture of Leaf lettuces, Asian pears, grapes, pistachios, sundried cranberries, stilton with the orange mustard vinaigrette. Had an enjoyable dining experience.

    The food was phenomenal, but the service left something to be desired. Our waiter asked our drink order, when we were giving it to him and I mentioned my Rum & Coke, w/ NO Lime, I repeated it as often they bring it with a lime. He brought it with a lime anyway and proceeded to argue with me about me having not said it. All I drink is rum, and I've had it the same way for the last 30yrs. I say it everywhere I go, I do not like the taste of lime, it ruins a drink for me, it's trivial to some, personal for me. I am not one that subscribes to the ethos of the "customer is always right", because I do not believe that. Customers can be wrong, but not in this case as I know what I ordered as it is the same everywhere I go. But as I said the food was amazing! Would highly recommend it nonetheless.
