   I love this place! It’s small and more intimate than many restaurants and we had a table of 12 sitting fairly near to us and we were astonished that we didn’t hear them much. So the noise level was really good. Oh, and the food is excellent and a fabulous bar. Must experience!

   Our 1st time at Chelas - what a great find and the food is flavorful & fresh. Can't wait to return - had the pork carnitas & anxious to try other dishes!

   The cuisine here is extraordinary, some of the most distinctive and beautifully flavored Mexican food that I have enjoyed. Service is prompt and skilled; the ambiance is tasteful and unpretentious. Convenient to all downtown Tucson attractions. Go! You'll be glad you did.

   This was our second visit to Chela's. The food, service and ambience again were excellent. The house Margaritas were particularly good. The quesabirria and the enchiladas were just right. I recommend Chela's highly!

   The food was definitely prepared differently than other Latin restaurants. I had the shrimp fajitas and the peppers, onions and the other ingredients were already prepared. I can't eat green peppers and I told the waiter. He said that it was already prepared. I thought I could pick out the green peppers but they were so small that this was not a possibility. The waiter was very good and so was the ambience. My meal was average. I might consider returning to this restaurant but it would not be my first choice when going downtown. Rhonda

    I had the carne asada street tacos and they were excellent! My wife had mini chimichangas and our server brought out a side of their mole sauce to try.
