                                                              Food in my work canteen surpasses food that we ate last night. Hygiene standards were poor, our male waiter had very long hair. It should have been completely tied back, instead it was loose and dangling into the food plates he was carrying/serving. .

                                                              Food was magnificent and our server Bianca was wonderful. She had a great personality and was very kno2ledgable when helping us with our food choices. All the staff seemed to have a great attitude and the place was full which I guess is a sign of the quality and service you will find here

                                                              We had a group of 14 and to say it was good is an understatement. We live in Dublin but members of our party were in from California, London, Germany and Meath :). Everyone absolutely loved it and all agreed that we will most definitely be back. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and really good value for the city centre. Thank you to all the staff, we loved it.

                                                              Stylish restaurant, really welcoming and warm atmosphere, decor and building is extremely well maintained and spotlessly clean. High table was comfortable and in a nice location in the room, lovely menu, very heavy on fish to start which is fine but having a fish and shell fish allergy left on 2 choices which is a little disappointing. Service team are extremely polite, friendly, efficient and good at reading the table observationally for needs and additional requirements. Food service was good and attentive, food was was good quality for starters and mains, great choices for wines by the glass, we had a different glass with each course. The only disappointments are as previously mentioned choice of starters with food allergies for fish and shellfish, and unfortunately dessert choice is also poor and the profiterole we ordered was more like something you would get in a diner style establishment, didn’t eat it. Overall great restaurant and worth a visit, great team of hospitality professionals at every interaction. Lovely warm and vibrant dining room, nice buzz, but the background music was inaudible which was a shame as it was nice modern jazz.

                                                              It was a fabulous evening at Chequer Lane; the staff were great...warm and knowledgeable, and the food was delicious! I highly recommend that you visit this lovely restaurant.
