I selected a one star review because when we arrived at the restaurant to dine, the restaurant was closed. After double checking my reservation date and time, I then called the restaurant phone number while standing outside their doors confused. There was a message on the phone recording stating that due to an electrical issue they had to close. It would have been nice if someone called me or emailed me to cancel my confirmed reservation. I drove from Stockton to Dublin to have brunch only to find out that the restaurant abruptly closed(while looking at the "we're open" on the curb). I went to the restaurant's Facebook page also and there is no mention of the restaurant being closed either only the phone recording.

Apologies for any inconvenience you experienced. We reached out directly at the number provided at the time you set up your reservation, prior to Sunday with an explanation as to why we had to close abruptly. We updated Google, our restaurant voicemail and posted on social media why we had to close due to an issue with the Dublin FD. Hopefully, you'll come back and try us out in the near future. If you ask for me directly, I'll give you a 25% discount on your overall bill. With Gratitude, Cherie

Unfortunately we went on Father’s Day and the menu that was advertised was not at all what was prepared. Tons of advertised items were missing and there was hardly food left at the buffet. It took them forever to replace items such as fried chicken and collard greens that were gone. There was no salad dressing for the salad at all. Food was cold. The staff were overwhelmed with request for simple things that were not available such as plates. At one point we waited 20 minutes to have plates restocked at the buffet. It was almost as if they only had 20 plates in the entire restaurant. It was also way too small for the amount of tables they had. This made it very uncomfortable to enjoy a meal as tables were so close to each other and in the way of foot traffic. We were very disappointed as we wanted to support this new business and were initially excited about this venue. The food was not good either. The two pieces of fried chicken we had were the only thing I can say that was really good. Only one person at our table was able to get greens and macaroni because there wasn’t enough for us all. One person had the oxtails and said it was all fat. There was no dessert amongst other things that were advertised. We will not be returning unfortunately but wish this business the best and hope they take the feedback to improve.

This business should not have advertised a grand opening for Father’s Day. The location is smaller than my largest bathroom. They constantly ran out of prepared food, the did not have enough tableware and/or dishes and the food was available was not enjoyable. I am not sure what happened, but I feel as though they should offer a public apology. I am sure that 95% of those that patronize her restaurant on that day will not return.

We enjoyed the Grand Opening on Fathers Day. The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We plan on returning with family and friends on another day other than brunch so we can sample additional items off the menu.

YAY!!!!! I am so excited for your new adventure, and I wish you nothing but the best. I have known the owner Cherie Barfield since 1984. We attend high school together, and I've attended several dinner parties at her home. I've watched Cherie evolve from a visionary into an amazing woman and now business owner. God is surly good! I can attest to the fact that Cherie is a natural cook who is passionate about the food she prepares and serves to her family, friends and community. My friend and I tried the things that were naturally comfortable to our individual pallets, and were not disappointed. We both knew from experience that whatever Cherie prepares is prepared with love, heart and soul. My friend Kimberly and I enjoyed the food, music and had a wonderful time. We look forward to visiting again Cherie.

This is a great addition to Dublin! Very nice place! The ambiance and live music for brunch were amazing. The food and staff were great. I can’t wait to dine here again. We will definitely back.
