The Huntley Dining Room is open for breakfast daily from 6:30-10:30am, Bar and Lounge 4-10pm, and for dinner 5-10pm featuring Montana favorites. Located in the Huntley Lodge. Reservations are encouraged for dinner, walk-ins are always welcome. Please call 406-995-5791 if you are running late for your reservation as we may not be able to hold your table longer than 15 minutes past your reservation time.

    Firstly the food, cold $62 rib eye, cold burger, my wife ordered broccoli instead of fries and they took the broccoli from my steak dish and put it on her plate, you could see the potato remains on her plate. We also ordered the beet salad and there was hardly any cheese, just a load of canned beats and arugula. We were offered deserts but honestly had enough by this point. Could have made something better at home with the same ingredients. The price was hyper inflated and the quality was below average. Service was fine although one waitress setting up tables was coughing with her mouth open and rubbing her nose with her hand. Worst part is when they delivered the cheque they were all cheerful and thank full to get a bigger tip. Honestly spoiled our day. Wouldn’t recommend.

    Chet’s survives on the captive audience. The best aspect consistently has been the service. Our waitress was friendly, timely, helpful, a delight. The food is typically average. In the past, the salmon dinner was quite good. Decor needs to be freshened. Hostess needs customer service training.

    Wonderful dinner at Chet's! The Bison Chislic (tenderloin) appetizer along with a small Cesar salad brought out together made for a perfect lighter dinner paired with a Willie's Mule cocktail made with Montana Moonshine. Table mates loved their Braised Short Rib and Rocky Mountain Trout entrees. Great value for the money in Big Sky.

    As a family, we like going to Chets. However, on this visit we were disappointed in the quality of the food. The special, lamb chops, were over seasoned and charred to the point of being burned. The French dip was very dry and unappetizing. The chicken was over cooked. The plates that the food was served on were cool, causing the food to chill down. On a bright note, our server, Trevor was great! He was very polite, knowledgeable of the menu and attentive! Would we give Chets another try, maybe.
